Jeff Carbello Great Deal. Got 2 licenses for $23 for both my home computers. Thanks!

So folks know, this software protects you from screenshot keyloggers unlike others that just protest from malware using just keyboard system layer hooks. I also use this with FireFox plugin KeyScrambler with no issues.

This program was testing by Raymond over at his Raymondcc blog and he found that it was the only one of many anti-keylogger software that was effective against all current forms of keylogger malware.

Albert C. Will buy for sure! ;) Just wanted to know how does the licensing work, per user or per computer (it's not explained under the policy description). Also, on a technical note, I see that ZAL is compatible with KeyScrambler, but what about SpyShelter? Thanks! ^_^

Keith Norton This looks like a great program and the Security Tests on your website indicate that my current malware software is providing incomplete protection. Your Tech Faq, indicates your software will not run on 64 bit Windows which makes me hesitate. Most of my machines are Windows 7 64 bit, so am I to assume I shouldn't bother with this software?

IT-Sentry We apologize for the response delay. We had problems receiving the BDJ comment notifications. @Albert C. The purchase of Zemana AntiLogger Standard provides you with a single license key that can be used to register Zemana AntiLogger on a single computer. If you wish to install Zemana AntiLogger on more than one computer simultaneously you must purchase a license for each computer. Anyway, we offer volume discount pricing for this product. We designed Zemana AntiLogger for maximum compatibility. Extensive tests identify no significant conflicts with well-known security products. You can see the complete list http://www.zemana.com/Ant...y.aspx#tab : However, there are programs we haven't been able to test yet. In this case, just to be safe, we recommend to first uninstall the current security software and then install the AntiLogger. @Keith Norton, Stephane M , Hazen Hoffpauir Thank you for your feedback. AntiLogger is not available for Windows x64 (64-bit) operating systems at this time but x64 support is a priority for us and we are working hard to make it available as soon as possible. We have started AntiLogger v2.0 beta version with 64-bit support, but there's no release date yet. Thanks again for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to write.

a a Will the x64 version provide as much protection as the 32-bit version, or will it be less due to limitations on what you can do due to KPP ?
Jul 10 2010 at 12:59pm Copy Link
0
IT-Sentry We are working around the PatchGuard and all the security controllers of AntiLogger are based on the supported MS APIs, we never try to bypass PatchGuard to put our customers at risk but the 64-bit edition of Zemana Antilogger will provide a reduced level of protection compared to the 32-bit edition becuase x64 kernel of Windows provides limited APIs to implement a very strong security solutions.

Michael R. I am using a win7 x64 system and just installed your trial...

The webcam-functionality is a very insteresting one, since newer laptops mostly have a webcam and microphoe built in, with no hardware-switch to enable/disable it by will. (Definitively not understandable by me...)

So I tried to check this webcam-blocking out. Since I do not own any spying webcam-tools, I started a webcam app (ManyCams) and a broadcasting tool to broadcast my webcam to net internet while running Zemana AntiLogger, just to see how AntiLogger would intervene.

I kind of expected it would perhaps open a messabox, asking me, if I would like ManyWeb or my broadcaster program send the webcam-images to the internet. But nothing came up and the broadcasting worked fine. Now I checked the protocol and also there no entry about this appeared.

So I am wondering about how AntiLogger does protect me from having my webcam-contents being captured and sent to the internet. Perhaps you could explain!? Is it because you trust ManyCam or my broadcaster-program or because I explicitely executed it?

Btw: Does AntiLogger is intended to protect against sending audio from the internal microphon, too?

I am not sure, how this internal webcam-hardware works, but it would be great, if there was a functionality showing on the screen, if the webcam/microphone has been turned on or off.. (But perhaps they are always turned on like a keyboard (and each program has the opportunity to grab pictures and sound from it), so this would be not possible at all).

If you not change your computer hardware, AntiLogger should automatically recognize the license key, otherwise please send us an email than we will transfer your license key.

Thank you for your interest in our products. I do not think it is a good idea to ask the producer this question.
Zemana Antilogger is a top-notch security tool which tried, tested and recommended by many experts. You can read the expert reviews @zemana.com.

I am also attaching a recent Banking Security Report by the Malware Research Group, which I believe speaks most clearly about the capabilities of our technology – all major brands fail to stop an attempt to steal PayPal account details, whale the AntiLogger does. (actual results start from page 7 of the document)
http://zemana.com/research/MRG.pdf

Astrid M. Hi, I'm using Eset Smart Security together with Malwarebytes anti malware. So, I assume I am protected against a lot of things. Or am I wrong and is Zemana doing things Malwarebytes and Eset can't do? Do I need another programm like Zemana on top of these two or will they get in the way of each other and prevent functioning properly? Or can I use software like Zemana next to these 2 programms or is this not usefull at all?

IT-Sentry Zemana AntiLogger is not a replacement for antivirus and antispyware, but it adds an extra layer of security by working in conjunction with your security software.

As AntiLogger uses a proactive and unique way to detect potentially harmful applications that are not currently recognized by other anti-virus programs, it protects your information security from a range of threats.

Extensive tests identify no significant conflicts with Malwarebytes and Eset product line. You can use Zemana AntiLogger seamlessly as an important extra layer of your security.

VLM Orhan,

I as out of town and am therefore entering this conversation a bit late. Above, you were asked about SpyShelter. You provided this link

http://zemana.com/research/MRG.pdf

to a report. Your product is indeed quite favorably mentioned in that report. However, SpyShelter is not mentioned at all, and so you have either avoided the question or you have failed to respond to it.

Did no one else notice? Did YOU not notice? Sheesh!!! Not too swift, IMO.

Steven Avery Zemana is a nice app, covering some unique security aspects and well behaved. My subscription expires in a few months, I may wait for a later deal.

I use it on XP, at Wilders Security Forum (they generally like the program) last year it was discussed that it was a little slow getting up to speed to full protection on 64-bt, I am not sure of the current status.

- They just have 1 comment in total on BDJ, on this product.
- All comments are very brief (1 sentence), but very grateful
- Many are very similar, if not 100% copies
- Many of the names share the characteristic of not starting with capital letters

My apologies if I'm wrong.

J J Hi,
Any chance of an answer to this post, last Aug by VLM
- Thats if this gets published! They seem to enjoy deleting comments here!!!

Orhan,
I as out of town and am therefore entering this conversation a bit late. Above, you were asked about SpyShelter. You provided this link
http://zemana.com/research/MRG.pdf to a report. Your product is indeed quite favorably mentioned in that report. However, SpyShelter is not mentioned at all, and so you have either avoided the question or you have failed to respond to it.
Did no one else notice? Did YOU not notice? Sheesh!!! Not too swift, IMO.

Hello J J,

Well, AntiLogger is our product and SpyShelter is a competing product. We are convinced ours is better! It's the same like asking AVG if their AV is better than BitDefender's for example...

There is plenty on the topic written by bloggers, reviewers, etc. Ultimately, we leave this for you guys to decide.

VLM Roger, thanks for providing all those links, that does help quite nicely, and my concerns are mollified. Thank you!

Nico, a typical conversation here at BDJ is packed with substantive, thoughtful questions and comments. In the presence of all those seemingly mindless "expressions s of appreciation" up top, I think it's only prudent and good judgment for people to question. And I don't appreciate being told what I'm thinking or feeling. Rather, I'd much prefer to have my questioning acknowledged for what it is ... prudent and reasonable.

Roger has responded quite constructively, IMO, quite effectively. But your comment here, I do not find in the same league.

And now, having comfortably cast aside my suspicions on the basis of the information Roger provided, I must say that the product itself does look quite excellent. Hopefully, someone will be able to compare/contrast with SpyShelter Premium.

Just my 2 cents, so to speak. Hope I don't get censored or banned for it ... it's just my honest and heartfelt perception.

I believe the reason for all the brief thank yous is because we all have this program from previous give-aways (I've had my licenses for 2 years thanks to BDJ!) and are happy with the program. Honestly, there's not much to say - it doesn't hog resources, works well with A/V, and basically sits unobtrusively until something nefarious shows up.
The very fact that all these folks- who are quite capable of speaking their minds- find anything more to say than a warm kudos superfluous should be a good indication that this is one great deal.

a a SpyShelter is better than Zemana. I haven't tested recently, but when I did some basic tests by running Zemana's own test software against SpyShelter and vice-versa, Zemana didn't block all of SpyShelter's tests, but SpyShelter did block all of Zemana's. Granted this is only a basic example, which may have changed now.

SpyShelter also has the advantage of being lifetime licence, while Zemana is a subscription model (ie. when your subscription is up the software no longer works). I find this subscription model odd for Zemana as it's not based on signatures like an Anti-Virus, and so doesn't/shouldn't require constant updates (aside from program development).

Zemana does have a snazzier looking website though ;)

SpyShelter has been offered a few times before through BDJ, and will no doubt be offered again in the future. I have no connection with SS other than I like and use the software.

BENNET User Thanks a lot Zemana & BDJ for this great promotion.

@VLM
I have Spyshelter in one of my machine, and Zemana on another two machines. I love both these programs. Spyshelter is most of HIPS, and Zemana popup only if it finds a keylogger or related malicious program. So obviously I cant say either Spyshelter or Zemana is best, as both works on different design technology. Both are really good & great programs. It depends on your need which program suit you most.

I asked the same question as you before to Zemana Vendor that which one is best. He gave me a comparison PDF file. It was compromising & I made my mind, purchased a Zemana license last year. I am really happy that I purchased it. Try it yourself, I am sure you will love it. Also as others mentioned, he support is too good than Spyshelter, which should also be considered before buying a software.

Note: Zemana is not a suspicious program, it is one of the well reputed Anti-Keylogger. To answer your question, it will work well with KeyScrambler, as KeyScrambler way of working (Design) is different. I tried these program combinations once, and I didn't face any issue. But I uninstalled Keyscrambler, as I didn't have a valid license.

It also requires online activation with hardware footprint.

Peter C1 From ''Bennet Immanuel'' comment: "... I asked the same question as you before to Zemana Vendor that which one is best. He gave me a comparison PDF file. It was compromising & I made my mind, ..."

Orhan Akyurek: if what Bennet Immanuel is correct then you do have a document that could be sent to those of us like me (and You can see my email address) which WE the user's/buyer's can use to make a comparison between both keylogging programs.

Now I understand for legal reasons why you yourself can't tell us which compares better although naturally each vendor would think there's is the better product.

Of other interest is the comment made by "a a" when they said: "... I haven't tested recently, but when I did some basic tests by running Zemana's own test software against SpyShelter and vice-versa, Zemana didn't block all of SpyShelter's tests, but SpyShelter did block all of Zemana's. Granted this is only a basic example, which may have changed now. ..."

Well has anybody today tried the test software on each opposing product so that we can see which is better?

From Memory I thought Zemana had troubles with 64Bit however that may be a year or so back, but it is inexcusable nowadays as Microsoft and the chip manufacturers are really pushing 64Bit hardware and the accompanying Operating System software.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

That's my 2 cents worth and thanks to both Bitsdujour & Zemana Ltd.

Orhan Akyurek: I would really like to receive a copy of this document that you once sent a copy of to Bennet Immanuel so that at least i can compare the 2 best known programs

Joe M One year of free use of your software is nice, but then having to spend $25.00 every year for upgrades to gets kind of expensive. Why not just by your competitors' software, Spy Shelter for $32.57, which has a lifetime license. To me that is the better buy. The Spy Shelter program is advertised as the World first 64 bit anti keylogger. From things I read about your program it has troubles with 64 bit systems.

Why did the free Ant Logger key expire in a month?
Says key expires on 4-29-12
Key logger is saying I am trying to activate on too many computers. I only 1 computer. Some activation checker you depend on. Accuse a user of using a key on other computers. That is why I dislike activations. Protects the company, but, hurts a paying customer.

Arlene Manduca I downloaded a Zemana Anti-Logger trial from Giveawayoftheday.com and I liked it! The trial stopped working MONTHS before the end date. A message said I had to purchase a license. I TRIED to buy it, being offered a discount on the link. The link was BAD. It went to a shopping cart site where I could not make any selections. It didn't offer me any discount.

I went to main website but couldn't get any discount. I got the support email address and wrote Zemana asking why it stopped the updates months too soon. I included screen shots of the end date, my license and activation code, EVERYTHING. I NEVER HEARD FROM Zemana, it's been MONTHS.

Zemana support could have at LEAST written me back. Companies who don't reply to users with problems or try to cheat you by offering a discount you can't get STINK! Maybe they'll reply here. Let's see.

Michael R. Some times ago, when trying to record a webinar, I could not attend, because I wasn't there, ZemanaAntiLogger avoided my computer to enter the webinar, because of a displayed message - something like 'program tried to access to your webcam' - which I couldn't accept or decline, because I was not there.

Next time I wanted to do the same, I had to exit ZemanaAntiLogger and than it worked...

So I wished there would be an option in ZemanaAntiLogger, which would, if set, automatically decline these accesses, if the user did not answer it within a certain time. So there would be no need to avoid security in such user-absent cases...

I think implementing this, is no a such big thing and would be very useful...

Jim Willis Hi all - thought I'd share my experience with this program.
I've had it on my Win 7 64bit for about 8 months with no problems.
Doesn't seem to get in the way at all. Even when installing new programs, Zemana actually recognizes most of them and will automatically allow them to run, which I thought was great.
Much as I liked this I decided to uninstall it after my licsense ran out.
They do offer a generous 25% discount to renew, but because I recently lost my job I could not afford to buy anything.
I read horror stories about uninstalling Zemana, how it left bits & pieces behind that were near impossible to remove & interfered with people's computers. Well I simply used Revo & Zemana uninstalled fine & after 1 reboot I have not had any problems at all, Zemana uninstalled w/o a hitch & has not caused me any problems.
If it's offered here again I will probably get it again.

Michael R. Thanks for the answer of my question on march, 3rd.
I'm looking forward for this current deal and the upcoming new version with this automatic-timeout-option (already out?) ...

Perhaps a too internal questions: Because I get a lot of warnings when starting programs, which should not do anything like keyboard-logging or access to the clipboard (but according to ZAL-warnings they do):

How does ZAL find out that a program tries to log keyboard-hits, access to clipboard, or access to the webcam? This is done by comparing the program-hooks with the standard-hooks, right?

And yet another question about keyboard-logging: Does this mean, that a program does not only check the keyboard-hits, which belongs to it, but also all the keyboard-usage of the entire system?

IT-Sentry @Stefan Hauber, Peter Hayes, Paul T, Danny Thys

Dear Stefan, Peter, Poul and Danny

Lifetime license model is not possible with the security software industry. We provide one year of free upgrades for your product. This includes major releases. For example, if you purchase your license in March 2013, you get any updated versions of the same product up to March 2014. We would advise that you wait for your current subscription period to expire and only then enter the new license key.

IT-Sentry @David Nelson

Dear David,

We have actually already released a Windows 8 compatible version, it is available for download on our website, however starting with Windows 8 64-bit, Microsoft effectively closed any third party software from funning at Kernel level, in the system¼s core. This is where our sensors are based. In other words, this part of your computer is now guarded by your Windows 8.

Does this mean you are immune to information stealing malware? Not exactly. To ensure protection on Windows 8 64-bit computers, we have added keystroke encryption functionality, advanced protection against SSL intruding financial malware and signature-based detection of information stealing malware. This gives you a hybrid protection, combining a number of defense mechanisms and ensures your system is safe.

AntiLogger on Win8 64bit systems will not alert you to most leak tests, but the leak test can not capture keystrokes and it does cover the most dangerous SSL Banker Trojans like Zeus and Torpig with behavioral analysis.

Pavi Johnson Hi, a test of the product seems to show a lot of failures to stop keyloggers and trojans:

http://www.youtube.com/wa...7JOwcj2Jzw

The tester then used Malwarebytes which found the offending malware which had been installed/loaded through Zemana's real-time protection. This has me quite worried about the product's ability to protect my PC.

IT-Sentry @ Pavi Johnson

Hi Pavi. Good question!

When you watch the video you can clearly see that the tester uses completely random pieces of malware in his test. AntiLogger is a very focused product: it protects you against information stealing attempts. So if the sample he is testing has no data stealing functionality, it is normal for the AntiLogger not to detect it. The Malwarebytes results are also easy to explain: the malware samples used in the test are from a public directory. Of course a signature-based product like Malwarebytes should be able to detect *all known* malware. The advantage of the AntiLogger is that it will be able to detect 0-day information stealing malware, something that no signature-based approach is able to protect you against.

Above, Danny asks, "how long will that new license key will be valid as long as it's not activated?"

Zemana replies: "It waits to be activated. So, it is always valid."

Now another person has contradicted that information, yet Zemana did not bother to correct it.

I'm ready to buy TODAY, but only if I can use the activation key in December of this year.

Based on comments from previous offers here, it looks as though I will be able to, but I would like a final, definitive word from Zemana to settle this once and for all. Whether I buy or not depends on this.

Chris A This is a good product, I had a license from heare last year.

The problem (in my opinion) is the excessive cost at t renewing the license. It's a great product but not at $30 list.

Rather than renew, Iun-installed and went to a free version of another product.

My advice to the Zemana team is it's better to retain a customer and charge them half-price to renew for the next year, than continually trying to add new customers with discount deals.

Steven Avery Hi,

It looks like you could set up a Skrill-Moneybookers account. The cc# would have to go to Skrill but would be invisible to the vendor.

Anybody try that method?

They do not seem to have their bank-upload method that Paypal uses really working yet though. However their main method is a type of credit card pass-through.

However, if the cc# only goes to Skrill (there may be a 2.5% foreign transaction fee?) that would seem to help with the main concern. Setup looks pretty quick, I had set up an account a year ago and had not used it yet.

Brad It appears Nico is quite correct, PayPal not working via Plimus at least this appears to be the case in the US. I've tried 3 different browsers, IE, Firefox, and Chrome, clearing the cache, the "whole nines yards", its just not available.

Perhaps individuals from other countries who are Bitsters were able to purchase via PayPal. It would be interesting to know if these folks would indicate if they met with success in their specific location using PayPal whether they are in the US or not.

From where I am in California during this promotion PayPal is clearly not an option, this notwithstanding the vendor Orhan Akyurek comments to the contrary that PayPal is accepted by Zemana.

With that said I could use a credit card however I tend to be hyper-vigilant in using a credit card with a company I am unfamiliar with, and especially who I have not previously done business with. By stating this I am not impugning the Vendor or company but rather making a statement of my comfort level in these types one off transactions.

Of course this is why PayPal is so nice, for it is a "buffer" of sorts which precludes the necessity of having to provide personal financial information to an unknown entity. This notwithstanding the fact that a very through vetting process is quite likely done by BitsDuJour before companies even appear on these web pages.

Perhaps at a future time PayPal will be working for Zemana during another BitsDuJour promotion. It is very nice software and would be an extra level of security to add to my PC.

Regards, Brad

Steven Avery Hi,

Incidentally, I have used Zemana in the past, and liked it. And I would definitely recommend it for problematic environments (e.g. work computers used by others).

Wilders generally likes it, and the price is right. My one concern is as follows, any anti-logger works with hooks into the OS, that can in the long run be disruptive (especially if you use a variety of products with a variety of hooks.)

So if you have a generally well run and defended puter (HIPS, startup, browser stuff, firewall, AV, scans etc.) I'm not sure that I want to add a low-level protection. At this price, though, I might purchase and leave it on hold.

George Butel I had a great deal of trouble just downloading the product: I'm wondering if your servers were overloaded. It froze in Chrome most of the way through the download, due to an "unknown network error," and I tried several times. I thought maybe it was just your site, so I tried going to Softpedia to get it, but with the same result. I then tried several times with Firefox, both at your site and at Softpedia's, and, each time, toward the end again, I got the message, "[File path]\Zemana_AntiLogger_1.9.3.448exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read." I then decided that maybe either Norton or Malwarebytes was stopping it, so I turned Malwarebytes off, with the same result. I didn't want to try it without Norton. I then tried using IE10, and it also stopped most of the way though, telling me merely that the download had been interrupted, but it gave me a resume option, and, after a couple of attempts, it finally completed. Then, however, IE told me "This program is not commonly downloaded and could harm your computer." I scanned the program with SuperAntiSpyware, NIS and Malwarebytes, all of which pronounced that it was okay. So I now have a good file, but, before I install it, I'm wondering if it is compatible with Norton and with Malwarebytes: I have the full version of Malwarebytes. I'm still using the free version of SuperAntiSpyware, but I'm thinking about getting their full version also. Will Zemana function properly with Norton & Malwarebytes on full time? How about with SAS also?

I had the same annoying experience until I discovered you do not need to click on the obvious big button but on the small text just above. I can't remember what exactly it said (and cannot reproduce it since I have in the meantime figured out how to register) but give it a try. Should work.

Incidentally, after registering a blank box kept showing up that looks like you're meant to key in your license code once again with underneath an Activate button together with a buy license link. But you'll see that at the top your current license is properly displayed with the remaining number of days of validity. I guess the box is there for when one renews the license, but at first it looks confusing - just like the link/button for the first registration.

George Butel Why don't you rearrange your gui a little so there is an "activate" link instead of a register link? Like most men, I don't read directions first (usually), and it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to activate it. Just put a link that says "Activate--license input" or something like that on the main gui. That will eliminate any confusion. My first impulse also was to click "register," and I think that's normal....I like stuff from Turkey. I have a refrigerator from there I bought about 20 years ago, and it still works; it's better than the American ones these days.

Arlene Manduca This is excellent software and definately worth having. Protects your system from back door programs. Registration process has glitches, 2 years and counting. Plus in the past, my software expired a few months early. Despite emails on BDJ and to them directly, it was never corrected. Short of those two issues, which they can address, this is great software. Posting this to FB.

If you have confirmed that you are connected to the Internet, please adjust your firewall or proxy settings and try again.

If you still have activation issues, you can also try offline activation using your web browser to receive an offline activation key:
Go to "My Documents" and double click the "AntiLogger Activation" shortcut. Copy the resulting activation code from your web browser into AntiLogger.

JMJ Squared @Orhan Akyurek - Great Product that I've used for two+ years and install on every computer I touch. I like the fact that, if I have to reinstall your software during its 12-month validity period, your activation servers recognize the existing license and allow me to finish out the year.

Please:

BitBucket Excellent program.

Comment: When Zemana throws up an alert with the "Allow, Block" option buttons, I'd rather that the "Make a rule" box wasn't ticked by default. It makes it too easy for a momentary twitch of the finger on the mouse to become the law going forward.

Second, when I visit Panopticlick ( https://panopticlick.eff.org/ ) it was able to detect that I was using Zemana and add it to my list of characteristics when forming my signature. It does that even when javascript is disabled.

That seems like a small, but undesirable security risk, and how does it do that anyway?

JMJ Squared I have the same EXACT number of bits "exposed", per Panopticlick. I don't put much store in having a "unique" browser footprint or not: Nobody is actively targeting me... I think, NSA included. :-)

I believe that Zemana did not "leak" anything to the Internet. I use several layers of protection, including the *best* consumer-grade, software firewall and still periodic port-scanning reveals Ports 139 and 445 somehow re-open "all by themselves." That's Microsoft's fault. I don't trust anything 100% and always periodically re-confirm, including Kaspersky. Take a look at Gibson. It can't hurt and, IMHO, will confirm that some incoming port is open allowing Panopticlick to see more than it should.

BitBucket @JMJ Squared

Against my better judgement I ran GRC's Shields Up and it showed I'm fully stealthed. This actually surprised me as few years ago Kaspersky announced a policy change in that they were no longer going to stealth ports as it caused some problems and didn't add much safety. They must have changed back.

Aha, I just had an idea. Zemana must make some change or add something to Firefox. With Zemana exited, Panopticlick still gives the same report.

Whatever, Zemana is still an excellent program that I think has saved me a few times.

JMJ Squared @BitBucket - I don't understand your "better judgement" deferring your checking that you are as secure as you think but, in any event, you have a security problem. Firefox reveals a lot more information about your system than does Internet Explorer; e.g., installed plugins, screen resolution, etc.

Also, in my tests, even using Firefox, Panopticlick still says nothing about Zemana (or any other Internet security software installed). I think you have a security problem. I posted my two cents in the forum: Zemana Antilogger - Firefox & IE.

All the best.

JMJ Squared WHERE IS THE DEVELOPER? Many questions and NO ANSWERS. :-(

@Greg Newell - Don't give up, as the Program really is superior. Did you disable other security software while installing/activating?

@Software Babe - You read a review from **2010** and did not read the complete article, which concludes:
"In a new round of tests, the application alerted us whenever Refog or any other certified app attempted to record keystrokes or capture the screen. The extreme side of the testing involved a genuine trojan with logging capabilities. This complicated piece of malware would allow a remote attacker to execute code on the infected machine. In this case, Zemana successfully detected the server thus compromising all activity of the trojan. However, the rootkit behavior of the threat may mislead the user into trusting the activity of the process and instruct Zemana to allow it.

Due to fixing the issues of the initially tested version of AntiLogger and improving logging detection, the application gains the fifth star from us."

To other BDJ users: It sounds like there are some activation issues going on; I have had some problems in the past as well, but emailing support has always worked very promptly. Please be patient as this is a fantastic piece of software that IMHO everyone should have :-)

Brian H Hi- this software looks very good; and doing some independent research on my own, I see good reviews- in fact, I noticed that it even won "Silver" and "Excellence" awards on the "toptenreviews" website. The only issues toptenreviews were concerned about were "This anti-keylogger is not compatible with Agnitum, GFI or eSafe security products." Being a neophyte about anti-logger software, I am not sure how important these issues might be; however I was wondering if a rep from Zemana would be willing to address these issues in order to give us (the potential buyers) some reassurance about the product, before purchase. I also have to inquire about an earlier response that "Orhan" gave "Rodrigo", in the conversation above. Orhan stated that "Lifetime license model is not possible with the security software industry"; however in looking at a product competitor's website ("SpyShelter") I saw both options for "family packs" (for 5+ computers in a household), as well as "lifetime license" option, which appears contradict Orthan's previous post (however, I am not sure if he was aware the competition was offering these options). Based on this, is there any chance Zemana would implement purchasing options such as these for current or future offerings? Thanks. -Brian

CL Hi,
I am interested in buying the product but please help me out with the following 2 questions:
Just to confirm. (and I apologize to you and everyone else if these had been covered earlier).
In your reply to Amit you specified that "..1 quantity license, you may activate it in only 1 PC".
The fine print section states:
"Each license allows installation on a single computer and a laptop.".
So is 1 license good for 1 machine (desktop OR Laptop) or is it good for 2 machines (1 Desktop AND 1 Laptop but Not 2 Desktop and/or 2 laptops)?

Also
The fine print section also states (as I think you also specified earlier):
"You can install/register the software at any time."
Can I buy 5 licenses today and activate one today (2013), then active the other 4 in subsequent years (i.e one each on 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017)

Thank you.

If you purchase 1 quantity license, you may activate it in a desktop or a laptop.
If you also purchase multiple license, you may activate each licenses whenever you want and the 400 days period will start upon the activation of each license.

@Brian, Buyer
Usually, as you say, when you purchase such lifetime license models, you may use your programs for lifetime. However, when a new version related to your programs which has new features, is released you can not take advantage of that. So, if you purchase a program called e.g. ABCD 2013, when ABCD 2014 is released, this will have more functions than yours, and you need to buy it. However, AntiLogger does not have a subscription system like that. All of our users may take advantages of new features and new GUI.

CL Hi thanks for the clarification. So the license is not "a single computer and a laptop" but one OR the other. Also after reading reading your response to Brian, I an curious as to the policy. If I buy multiple licenses, activate one today and I run the current Zemana Antilogger 2013. At the end of the license I activate another license say in 2015 (when Zemana Antilogger 2015 is the current version), will I be activating the original 2013 version or can I activate and use the then current 2015 version?

Thanks you.

George Butel One thing is not clear about the program, though. It is clear that it monitors any program and network activity that's new, just from the messages that come up from it, but what I'm wondering is this: suppose you install Zemana on a computer that already has a keylogger on it. Will Zemana take that as merely part of its "baseline" software inspection, and ignore it?

Dippy Dawg I will chime in for people who are thinking about buying more then 1 license and using them at a later date. If you purchase more then one license you will only receive only one serial number and if you use the SN to activate one PC the clock counts down from 400 days for all licenses. So if you have 2 or 3 PCs you plan on putting it on then buy 2-3 licenses at a time (Per Transaction) So let's say you have two PCs and you want to buy enough licenses for two years to cover both PCs then purchase two license and then go back and purchase two more licenses. This way you will get two different serial numbers and you can activate the second SN 400 days from now. If you want to cover just one PC for 4 years then make 4 separate transactions and you will get 4 serial numbers. You can still use the same email address.
I learned this the hard way about 3-4 years ago and purchase several license at one time only to find out the one serial number started the clock ticking. In other words if you purchase 2 licenses at one time and installed it one PC today and then get a laptop 100 days from now and you use that same SN it would only be good for 300 days and not 400 days. Sorry for the winded post but wanted to explain it so everyone would understand how to purchase multiple licenses.

IT-Sentry @Dick Oz: Unfortunately you have to pay the VAT.

@Gwynne: Sorry, but not true. The countdown only starts once you activate the licenses and doesn't matter if you only activated once if you still haven't used it for the rest of the PCs. So let's say you buy 3 AntiLoggers, and you get one license to be activated on 3 PCs. You activated it only once, meaning the countdown doesn't start for the other activations, it starts when you activate it for the second and third time :)

Ricky Rick Problem. I used Zemanas Test Apps with AntiLogger - however the Anti-Clipboard Logger doesn't work. Before you buy like I did - do the trial version first and then go to Zemenas website and download the testing apps they have available which test the AntiLogger - Anti-ClipboardLogger - and the Anti-WebCamLogger.

The AntiLogger (for when typing text) worked fine with the test app. But like I said - the Anti-ClipboardLogger didn't work like it should. And I can't say anything about the Anti-WebCamLogger because I don't have a Web Cam currently on this computer.

I did post a support ticket to them about the problem but didn't hear back yet.

I had some issues with it and Win 10 Tech Previews and had tried to sort it with your support back then. Great support but couldnt figure out te issue back then.

Great software otherwsie.

it User My question relates to buying multiple licenses. Obviously I want to avoid buying the license multiple times, but I have read that there are issues with buying one lot of multple licenses which will give me one serial rather than mutiple serials which I think is easier to manage

1) If I buy multiple licenses in one go, will I get one serial or multiple serials?
2) If I only get one serial, how will it work? Will I be able to install it on multiple PCs and still get the full year coverage?
3) what happens if my PC gets stolen and I need to reinstall the first activation on a replacement PC. Can this be managed or does this have to go through support?
4) How will I see where my activations are at over multiple PCs?

since there has been problems with the payment gateway, will this offer be extended on bitsdujour?

IT-Sentry Regarding multiple licenses: You will receive a set of individual licenses keys according to the quantity purchased. So, when quantity is 4, you receive 4 separate license keys (Don't activate them until the current license key on a pc expires). Yes, you will need to go through Zemana support when a key needs to be re-used on a new pc or newly installed pc. As far as activation is concerned, each installation will show the number of days remaining.

Regarding support on Windows 10, we have updated our site to reflect that.

Mentions the latest version is 1.9.3.602 , released on Dec 30, 2014

That one was not fully compatible with Win 10. I had some bad experiences with that version.

https://www.zemana.com/Download says it was last updated on June 25, 2015.
If a version had been released which is stable on win 10, can you please point to the release notes?

And you said the page has been updated to reflect win 10 compatiblity. But Win 10 compatibility is shown only under Zemana Antimalware, which I do use and love and not under Antilogger.

Rick Hello,

I am unable to purchase Zemana AntiLogger using PayPal. The purchase fails after I am transferred to the non-standard PayPal pop-up window login screen. The pop-up login window will not accept my PayPal login credentials.

I have absolutely no difficulties logging directly into my PayPal account nor have I had difficulties making PayPal purchases with the exception of this attempted purchase.

A fix to the PayPal login problem and the special offer price will be greatly appreciated. I have sent a similar message to it-sentry sales via email.

Thank you…

singularity What is the difference between https://www.zemana.com/Wh...roductID=6 and https://www.zemana.com/Wh...roductID=1 .

I can see free and non free versions. Arent they the same with some difference in limitations in free version.

I cant understand the version numbers.
First one says latest is Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.8.2.320 releases on November 5 2015 and other says Zemana AntiLogger 1.9.3.602 released on Dec 30, 2014.

1.9 is older than 1.8 ? Or are they different products? In that case is this not a deal for the later? Why did you give release notes page of the free version?

One is 3.9 Mb and other is 14 MB and clicking the "download trial" above gives a 27 MB download.

Ricky Rick @ Zemana

You wrote on December 26, 2015: "The product will update after download and first activation. Alternatively you may download directly from Zemana on the following link https://www.zemana.com/Download"

I downloaded from that link and bought the program. When I CLICKED on Update from within the program after registering - it says I'm already Up To Date.

My registered AntiLogger program shows the following under Services>Updates in the interface:

Product Version: 1.9.3.602

ZALSDK Version: 1.9.5.600

So - the product Version of Zemana AntiLogger is still V1.9.3.602 from Dec 30, 2014

When I click on the UPDATE in the program it says the program is Up To Date.

How can that be when there is also listed as someone else has shown that it was last Updated June 25, 2015?

Something doesn't seem right. How to get the latest version from June 25, 2015 or later?

Thanks,
Ricky

Ricky Rick @ Zemana

No - it is not the latest version in your link above -- www.zemana.com/Download -- it is still Version 1.9.3.602 when you download directly from the Manufacturers site at the link you gave.

Besides that - the program itself should show that an Update is available but when the "check for Update" button is clicked it says - "you already have the most recent version of Zemana Antilogger"

Something is definitely wrong ...

Rick Hello,

I made two additional attempts to purchase Zemana AntiLogger using PayPal with the product clearly in the cart. My login credentials are definitely not making it to PayPal. Noting that I rarely come across a popup checkout (i.e., as compared to the more common In-Context, embedded or redirect), I find it odd that the PayPal login is being redirected to the same popup window. You may wish to consider that the PayPal Express Checkout is not properly integrated into the website or perhaps a confirmation script error. Regardless, I remain interested in the special offer price if the PayPal login problem can be corrected.

Thank you.

Rosalind Share I want to renew my license, but I have a serious problem.

1. According to Antilogger, it isup to date, but on your website, there is version 2.

2. I downloaded Zemana Antilogger and ran the program but the error message states I have to uninstall the old version.

3. Using Windows, Zemana Antilogger is NOT on the list.

4. According to REVO PRO, Antilogger is also NOT on the list of Programs.

5. I am disappointed that an Antilogger cannot be removed or updated.

6. I used Google and found numerous posts about this problem in version 1 and how unhelpful Zemana support.

7. I have sent a message via Support and expect Zemana to send me an uninstall application as I have no intention of messing with the Registry manually and this should not be expected in an Antilogger.

8. I hope to hear from Zemana and if satisfactory, only then will I renew my license - I have used Zemana for a number of years but this situation does not give me confidence.

IT-Sentry Hi Rosalind. Before you uninstall an old version of Zemana Antilogger, copy your current activation key first.
Then
-Uninstall your current version of Zemana AntiLogger
-Re-boot your computer (very important)
-Delete the "AntiLogger" folder from your "Program Files" directory (very important)
-Download and install the most recent version of Zemana AntiLogger.

For the latest non-windows 10 version of zemana antilogger go to the following link:
https://zemana.com/ThankY...able=False

If you have windows 10, do not use the latest version, rather use this special version until further notice:
http://dl9.zemana.com/ZAL....3.527.exe

Hope all this helps

Rosalind Share Your message does help in that this is the version I have as I am running Windows 10.

However, the issue is that I cannot uninstall Zemana other than by deleting manually the folder in /programs (x86). I am unhappy messing with the Registry.

What I was looking for was for you to explain why it is missing from Programs using either Windows or Revo Pro - and whether you have an uninstall program because this should not happen. I could easily mess up my PC.

Regards,

Ros

JW I tried using PayPal first, which seemed to get far enough to glimpse my account, but then went to a spinning logo (and never came out of it!).
So I tried using my Credit Card, but it threw that out because although it showed I'd input the date in in the correct format, the submission form didn't like it. [It did however recognise me from an earlier relationship with them!]
Now they've sent me an e-mail saying that the country's changed to GB (rather than United Kingdom?) and now the payment has gone through.
I've used this program before, and it's generally worth it at this discounted price.
