What are people saying about Zemana AntiMalware

CFGuy Question - "Zemana AntiMalware has real time antivirus protection." Does one need to use the real-time protection, or can it be installed and used just as a backup or secondary malware removal tool. And if it does need to be used as "real time", will it conflict with currently installed antivirus/anti-malware programs, such as "Norton Internet Security", or "Bitdefender" that is also working in "real time" to provide continuous protection? Thanks.

IT-Sentry Zemana Antimalware's real time feature may be activate/deactivated as preferred. However, when activated it does NOT conflict with existing antivirus products such as Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender, etc.

IT-Sentry Keys are usually sent immediately when confirmation of payment is received. From time of purchase to receiving the code is usually 5 min but through Paypal we have experienced delays in getting confirmation mail and may slow it down up to an hour.

Allan Fibecker Beware! I have a lifetime licence for this program, which I run from USB device as portable. However, it seems like my "lifetime licence got lost, when I plugged it in my one and only computer "too many times" - because, I got the message, that, I have used my key too many times. Geez, it asks for the key each and every time, but suddenly I got teh above message with a kind salute to "remember, our ingeneers are very awake, AND WE HAVE YOUR BACK". Be my guest and pay for something, you can get just as good or better for free. I'll recommend Eset Online Scanner, which is free - as long as it's just for on demand scanning. Don't be fooled, like I did - even I was beta tester for the program from day one. I'll never ever return to those scammers.

Allan Fibecker Hi Martin. I own 1 (one) computer), and I have not registred my version on any others - if your comment were adressed to me ;-)

IT-Sentry Hi Allan, Regarding your lifetime license. This is easily remedied. It is probably the case that you had some changes on your PC that are no longer associated with the configuration at the time you initially installed your Zemana Antimalware product. This could be because of a hard drive change, or re-installation of the operating system, among others. Regardless, just send an email to support @ zemana.com and explain the problem and include your license key, It will be reset and you will be good to go. As for the 1 PC license, we have 3 and 5 pc licenses for 1, 2 and 3 years. Visit https://www.it-sentry.com...s.php?pr=1 to see all your options.

Allan Fibecker Thanks a lot for swift support, Arkadas :-)

Sorry, I'm late responding. My issue is solved by, Armagan. Thanks again for the e-mail sorting things out. Way to go Zemana. The product is just fine, and I should know, since I've been on board from the early Beta days.

george User I need to clean up an HP pc running on Vista. Will Zemana Antimalware work just as well on that one?

IT-Sentry Hi George - You can run on Windows 7, Vista, 8 and 10. However, if any anything changed, such as mac address, or a difference from your current OS, your activation key may need to be re-set. Contact supportzemana.com and explain your changes and supply your key for re-setting. It takes usually less than 24 hours.

BearPup I am a Beta tester for Zemana AntiMalware, and notwithstanding that role, I use and continue to find ZAM a very effective tool for preventing malware from landing on my computer.

Perhaps its most effective use is in spotting and preventing malware that is buried within a program, and which only shows itself when installing or running the program. My version is set to ask me whenever it encounters unknown or potentially harmful fragments / coding. In fact, since my last weekly review of quarantined programs 5 new pop ups were blocked, preventing malware from landing on my computer.

Based on my actual usage of ZAM, I highly recommend it as another layer of real world protection. It integrates itself solidly into my system's security configuration.

Regards,
BearPup

CFGuy Hi - Question - can this program be used in conjunction with other AV programs - such as Norton Internet Security. Can they be installed and used together, or can Zemana's "real time protection" feature be turned off (so as not to conflict with other AVs), allowing Zenman to be used PRN (when needed) - say in the case of one being concerned that their system might be infected and missed by another AV program? Thanks. -CFGuy

BearPup @CFGuy: The answer to your question is Yes, ZAM can be used in conjunction with antivirus software and firewalls. I use ZAM in concert with Panda AV and ZoneAlarm firewall, and everybody gets along together just fine. Never had so much as a hint of trouble.

You can turn real time protection off, but you'd lose a key program benefit. And since it won't conflict with AV and firewall applications, there is no need to do so.

BearPup
