SoftCollector I know exactly what this one does - and it is (and has been) the best at that out there, but that said it is the kind of software that you would normally use 2 times a year to find out how your system is aging. Of course you can also created a report to take to the computer store when upgrading your hardware.

Am I missing something? Is there anything else this one could be used for on a more regular basis?

Genie au Travail @ SoftCollector

With AIDA64, you can do hardware monitoring (CPU, motherboard, fan...).

Extract from the features:
"Monitor and log over 150 sensors spanning temperatures, voltages, and fan speed"

I do that already with Everest Ultimate Edition.

Albus Dumbledore I'm confused about the deal. AIDA64 Extreme is priced at $39.95, not $59.95 as you show. Is the difference due to the 2 years of free upgrades?

Roger Thomasson @ Albus

You got it :-)

Miklos Andrassy @ SoftCollector @ Genie au Travail
AIDA64 can be used on an every day basis to monitor system health, sensor information or to setup alerts to different system parameters (overheating, fan failure..etc).
Benchmarks, sysinfo and stability test are more suitable for computer enthusiasts and overclockers who need a tool to fine tune and measure the computer performance.

AIDA64 continues the path that the old AIDA32 and EVEREST started, but since EVEREST discontinued in around mid 2010 it doesn't support all the hardware devices that came after that, like Sandy Bridge, Brazos, Llano, lots of GPUs and SSD drives...etc.

DrTeeth Just d/l and installed the trial. Does the fully licensed version have the 'Drive Agent' and 'BIOS Agent' buttons?

I expect freeware to have these things but NOT paid-for software.

As soon as you activate the trial version with a paid license, these buttons will disappear.

Joris I'm interested in a AIDA64 license renewal with 2-year Free Updates, too... How about this?

Dec 8 2011 at 10:24am Copy Link

Albert C. I already have a license going (don't remember if 1 year o 2 years maintenance). If I bought today, could I use these new 2 years to EXTEND my current license? If so, how'd that be done? Thanks!!! ^_^

Dec 8 2011 at 1:06pm Copy Link

Miklos Andrassy @ Joris Current promotion is only for new licenses.

@ Albert: drop an e-mail to sales (at) aida64.com with your actual license info and we will extend your license
