How many audio file formats are there? While the majority of your collection may be in just one or two formats, as your hunt for rare, quality audio files takes you to all of the corners of the Internet, you’ll soon discover some truly odd files that you’ll really want to play on your system. Before you do that, though, you’ll have to get a copy of today’s discount software promotion, AudioKonvertor!

AudioKonvertor lets you play, display, and convert between 676 different audio file formats, letting you discover and enjoy audio no matter how popular or obscure the source. And for each audio file, AudioKonvertor lets you edit and create metadata, offering an easy way to manage and organize your vast collection of files.

As a manager for all of your audio, AudioKonvertor lets you copy, move, and delete files however you’d like. And if you want to play your files on larger entertainment systems, or just want to make physical backups, AudioKonvertor has the ability to create CDs and DVDs, too!

After you purchase AudioKonvertor, it may be used for 12 months.

Stan Here you say "After you purchase AudioKonvertor - 12 months license, it may be used for 12 months." That means that this license is valid for only 12 month. But at vendors homepage it says "12 months FREE updating and maintenance included." which means that you can use the software as long as you want, I think.

Constantin Florea @Stan - please notice the last two phrases at the bottom of this page:

We have also specifically asked the vendor about this and he confirmed that after 12 months from the activation date, in order to continue using the application, the registration key must be renewed.

Jean Piquemal Hello

Yes, the key will work 12 months and will accept any number of fixes, new versions etc during 12 months.
Then, if you want to continue to use the software you will have to purchase a new key (half-price of the first one).

JW Not sure this is what you want to hear, but .. if I buy a licence for some piece of software I expect to be able to use it from then on - not to have to renew the licence every 12 months! Isn't that a "lease" rather than a purchase?
This is especially true of software such as this! I use 4 different DAWs (depending on the musical content and the work required) and they can all deal with various input formats as well as Save in all the common professional formats.
Most people would be hard-pressed to come up with 676 different file formats for audio material, let alone find material in that many being readily available! And if it was necessary to use it even once for some extremely uncommon format, then this is likely to be a very expensive purchase for those very odd occasions!
Since 'Audacity' is able to deal with all the common formats - and is 'free' besides! - then one wonders who is going to pay every year just to use this program.

Jean Piquemal Hello John
Yes, i understand.
From now on, on the first renew of a license of AudioKonvertor you will get a definitive key that will allow the use of all the future versions without any limit of time.
Did you try the software ? It converts but also plays music and gives meta infos.

bvssunnydale Can this convert Audible.Com AAX files? Thx. (I, too, think the 12 month plan limits the appeal of this, as I probably only convert a few files a year..)

Lito @Jean : Then only this free version has the "can only be used for 12 months" limitation? If you bought a new or renewed a license that code will have 12 months of upgrades and can be used forever after the 12 months?

FYI your features page for this product is missing I am getting a 404 error from:
http://www.logipole.com/a...res_en.htm

I have this real disdain for "subscription" like software. Adobe is trying it with their product line and all it did for me was make me look elsewhere for a different program that is on par with the software I use to buy from them.

Jean Piquemal The link is http://www.logipole.com/a...ats_en.htm
It works for me.

Then only this free version has the "can only be used for 12 months" limitation?
To modify the limitation i have to recompile the software, and i will make the job next sunday. For people who purchased a license via BitsDuJour i accept to deliver on next sunday a free license without limitation of time.

bvssunnydale I consider the answer to the "Can this convert Audible.Com AAX files?" evasive, I had seen that page on your site and it lists "CRI AAX" as convertible but lists hem as Read/Write/Add-On as Yes, No, Yes (but this isn't explained). AudibleCom is the largest audio book site on the planet so there's no way your company, which specializes in conversions, can possibly not know the answer such a simple question. Again, can your program convert Audible.Com AAX format to, say MP3, format? Very simple question.

Lito DOH sorry @Jean, I got your software and the all capture 3.0 giveaway deal confused. You are selling your software at a discount not giving a free 12 month license away today. I can't believe I made that mistake, but thanks for making a compile without a time limitation for your customers.
