Kelly Hamblin I purchased the software last time it was here on Bits. It was a horrible experience.

The application worked briefly (a couple of weeks) on my WIN7 64-bit computer, and then it quit. Contacting the developer was a time-consuming and frustrating experience. When someone finally responded, they sent me another version of Flashback, which didn't work at all. When I uninstalled it, my system was trashed. I've been unable to get a response to my request for a refund.

Unusable software. Non-existent support. No refund.

RS I also had a horrible experience with this software. I installed it on my mother's notebook at Thanksgiving, and, by Christmas time, she was getting error messages since it had filled the 700 gb disk with backups--this despite the fact that she had barely used the computer during the last month. I found that it often created a full disk image of 50 gb for no apparent reason. So I decided to uninstall the software. That's when things went from bad to worse. After the uninstall, the machine began to freeze and crash; previously, it was rock-solid and never had a problem. All efforts at troubleshooting and even a system restore failed to address the problem, forcing me to start over and reinstall Windows 10 using the system reset option.

All told, it cost me more than six hours during the holiday. Given that it appears the company is on the verge of going under, I would think twice before purchasing this software. I intend to ask for a refund, and will update BDJ members of the outcome.

Isso @Jon, one serial per PC.
@Trucker it is very different in that it does delta backups (backs up the differences on the disk on an hourly schedule) so backups result in smaller more manageable sizes. It also does incremental restores, this allows the very fast roll backs to previous points in time (sometimes only just a few seconds on minutes ) for a total restore of your operating system.

We also provide a backup browser where you can browse your backups like a file browser and restore individual files from the backup image.

Isso @RS theThe application is known for doing incremental backups (only backs up the differences). If you're persistently have larger backups (not incremental) this is likely the system didn't shut down or crashed etc so our app does a full backup.

Our application is not so intrusive to the operating system so we do feel it's not totally fair that you blame the instability of your grandmothers machine on our software. We do apologize for the time you spent reviving your grandmother's PC whether related or not to our product.

Sabrina@Home Bought the "AX64 Time Machine 4-pack"in 09/2014 and would download the software because of setting up a new system. Noe it seems that "http://www.ax64.com" does not really exist anymore.
Whats going on here, were they just digging for gold (money) and left paying users alone in the dark now?

Constantin Florea @norbert User, We do not have a promotion for this product on BitsDuJour. If a promotion would be active then there would be two prices on the promotion page, one being cut by a red line (that would be the regular price) and the other one would be shown normally. There would also be a percent showing up near the prices.

Leo User My experience is nothing but positive!

This product works like a charm on Win7 64bit.

It has saved my butt at least a half dozen times when I did something wrong or I downloaded something I should not have - just restore the previous system state.

Could there be improvements like a choice of backup frequency or deletion of the current backup file - sure, but those are a small price to pay for a product that does exactly what it says it does. Plus, I have found no alternative that is better and everyone I have tried have had too many flaws.

Rajeev Rohatgi I, too, purchased this software from Bijsdujour (4-pack). I'm unable to use it, as it does not restore! Recently, I had a system crash, and was horrified to learn that all the backups I'd made with AX64 were useless. Fortunately, I had an older Macrium Reflect backup, with which I was able to get my system up and running.

I'd like a refund for this purchase.

The program was useful when it worked (initially) -- I just wish I could get it to work again.

The software developer Bluebird IT PTY LTD no longer exists.
Never open the website or you are a victim of malware and ransomware !! The only reliable version is 2.0.0.637 and it works
always with the same serial. All the other serials don't work!!
I have been using this software for over 7 years and it has always worked perfectly. If you download somewhere, have the exe file scanned by Bullguard or Bitdefender.
