Lewis Tian It can be unregistered version. However, the Beyond Share license is per user so you can activate it on all your computers as long as you are the only user.

You should get BDJ to fix the 'policy' tab where it says the following:

- Each license allows installation on 1 computer

That disagrees with the licensing as explained on your website and with your previous comment here.

Jeff Titamer If I download the trial will I then get the sale price after evaluating it for a few days? I am almost sure that I want this but at the lower price and I don't get paid for about a week from now. I'd like to make sure also that it works well for me anyway.

Frank Sielna Hi Lewis,

as I usually use pretty strong passwords I am used to use copy&paste to input these.
Therefor I am afraid of sharing my clipboard if I cannot exclude my password app from being shared (like I can in ClipDiary).
I tried the trial version but there seems no configuration at all? Is the paid version even worse (just for me!) by 'automatically' sharing my clipboard w/o any config option?

Frank Sielna Another feature request:
Please password protect the group (I use a laptop and often move between networks - some might have BSP installed and I neither want my computer/data showing up there nor theire computers cluttering my BSP) by using a (simple) encryption. At least optional.

Lewis Tian @Frank, the clipboard sharing is actually designed for your personal computers only. And, all data was securely transferred via SSL channel. But it's still a good suggestion, I'll forward it to developers. Thank you!

About the second suggestion, a similar feature is already under development.

E. M. When I copy a clip from one computer to another, is the clip encrypted when sent over the LAN? Roommates share the same LAN.

Lewis Tian @Eric, yes, it's the same LAN. Your computers are connected directly. No internet connection needed.

many thanks for your quick answer.
Regarding Encryption: Good to know but of limited use as /anyone/ having BSP installed can decrypt. So it's much better than w/o encryption but much worse than with individual key (how long would that take to program if you already encrypt? 30 minutes?).
You don't even ask if "Workstation" is allowed to join my group (what you wouldn't need if I was allowed to enter my own password for your SSL encryption)

I think Eric is missing the same feature as I.
BTW: If you promised to do that change I trusted you and bought today. It really is just 1 form for the password entry and a single line to be changed (using "my key" instead of "08-15" as key).

Lewis Tian @Frank, do you think something like a "pair code" works? That's what we planned. You enter a pair code on one computer. Other computers must have same code to see/connect/access the computer. We didn't decide yet, but we might use license info as pair code as default.

DroidLuvr @BDJ and Developer: The website and previous comments by developer indicate that one license would be enough for all of my home network computers (I have 5) that my husband uses 1-2 of occasionally, but he would not be using this program (It will be under my profile only...)

Could you clarify that it is good for all owned machines, instead of the policy shown here which states:
Beyond Share Pro is licensed per computer, and not per user.
Each license allows installation on 1 computer, and Beyond Share Pro may be used at exactly the same time on each of them.

Lewis Tian @DroidLuvr, yes, it's right. The license is per user. So, as long as you are the only user. You can install Beyond Share on all your computers.

Richard Paris Unfortunately not able to get this to work on Windows 7 x64 Desktop. Whenever i send a clipboard item file from my Win XP laptop to the Win7 Desktop computer, Beyond Share on the Desktop crashes with an error. I've sent the automatic crash report with along with my email address to the developers... so lets see how quickly they are able to respond. Would like to purchase if i can get it to work.

Lewis Tian In current version, the only difference between 64 and 32 bit is that you can't paste files directly in 64 bit system. So, sounds like it's a general issue. Anyway, please post your email here or email me, I'll check it for you. Thanks.

DroidLuvr I had the same problem, but it hasn't occurred every time, just twice on my Win7 64-bit laptop: no problems on my 32-bit Win7 or my XP machine... I also sent automatic error log; however, I think will take my chances and will rely on your 30-day refund policy if it can't be solved, as I am finding this a very handy app.
