On any given day, you copy and paste so many items that you probably don't even think about it. But just imagine how much more productive you'd be if you could copy and paste more than a single item to the Windows clipboard at a time! Clipstory gives you that exact functionality, and so much more.

With Clipstory, every item you copy to the clipboard is saved in a history file. Later on, you can quickly cycle through your entire history of copied text, files, images, audio and binary data! Not only does Clipstory allow quick access to frequently used clips, you also have the ability to tag items, see extra details about each clip, and save clipped items to disk.

But wait, it gets better! You can set up Clipstory to automatically save clipped items to folders based on their data type, even going as far as to instantly convert image files to your desired format!

Charles Beauchamp Is it possible to transfer the clip history of clipstory to another purchased copy of clipstory and then put that clipstory on a usb drive to distribute. I believe you have a record of my purchase of about 100 copies of clipstory in the past. I never claimed those copies. Is it possible to get those copies now? I am planning on putting websites that can be used in the education of high school students to the maxim: "Everyone is a caregiver and a care taker" while using clipstory for that distribution. Thanks for your help in answering these questions.

Constantin Florea @Charles Beauchamp, I just sent you an email about your questions.

From that email, I will put here the answer regarding the transfer of the Clipstory history because I think it is important for others to know about this operation as well.

Here was my reply regarding the transfer of the Clipstory history:
To make the transfer you mention, you would have to manually copy the following files and folders from the following path to the same path on the other computer:

The other computer may have a different WINDOWS_USERNAME, so the path on the other computer may be slightly different. The WINDOWS_USERNAME I am referring to is the username under which you are logged in Windows. For example my username under which I am logged in Windows is:
so the path where Clipstory stores its files in my case is:

If I wanted to transfer these to another computer where the logged in username is Andrew (Andrew here is just an example) then the path for the other computer would be:

Here are the files you need to copy (overwriting the ones on the destination computer):

Here are the folders you need to copy (overwriting the ones on the destination computer):

Jim Hilton Is there some way we can know what the date was when something got "clipped"? I see there is an empty column which I cant' seem to figure out how to configure or if it is configurable.

Constantin Florea @Jim Hilton, Yes it is possible to know at which date and time something was clipped. To do this, please notice that when you click an item in the left side, the preview of that item is shown on the right side and at the bottom of the right side, there is an arrow pointing up and if you click that arrow, a small bottom panel will show up within that right section and among the fields shown in that small bottom panel, there is the Date and Time when the current selection got clipped.

From the website. Sorry and sad.
I think this SW is just a bit too old for today's HW and Windows 10 & 11 !?
