DrTeeth Never heard of this product before. Considering that it is a security product I wonder if there are any independent reviews of it?

Roger Thomasson Virus Bulletin has some very nice numbers for Coranti:

Michael Jones When it comes to independent comparative tests, Virus Bulletin is certainly the institution to turn to as they test all the major security products without receiving any compensation from the manufacturers.

John McLoughlin Will the 50% deal apply to multiple PC packages?
Feb 17 2011 at 9:59pm Copy Link
Michael Jones Yes, the 50% deal is available for the 1PC,2PC,3PC,5PC and 10PC SKU. And we've just gone live with the brand new version 1.3.1 which features much faster scanning times and lower RAM consumption.

Mr. Yoop Just some questions:
1. Does Coranti also run on Windows Home Server? It is not mentioned explicitly, but it is pointed out that Windows 2003 Server should work.
2. How often are the signatures updated and how large are the updates in general? This is quite interesting when working with mobile internet connection...
3. I wasn't able to get the 50% deal on multiple licenses as already mentioned above. It would be great if you can provide us the information once it is on-line...

Thanks for your support in advance,

Mr. Yoop

Michael Jones 1. We've had Coranti run on Home Server. The trial is fully features and times out after 30 days. If in doubt, please check with the trial fist to make sure your system environment is perfectly supported.
2. With Coranti you receive a master signature file comprised of the signature files from the scan engines used. Basically an updated signature file from one of the vendors triggers an update to the master signature file. Frequency and size will vary. The initial signature file is large but all subsequent signature updates are incremental.
3. you can count on it, will do.

Markus J The receipt I got says I get one years updates. I did pay for two years (37,5 USD). When I activate the code, it says that license expires 6.2.2011. So which is it?

DrTeeth Pity my paid-for AV has another 6 months to go.

Greg Brown This program sounds promising and I've read several good reviews, but so far I've been unable to get it installed.

Starts out great, but then I get:
Internal Error 5: Module Name: Coranti Core Driver

Followed by:
Coranti 2010 Setup failed

Internal Error 267. Module Name: Coranti Shell Extension

I'm running windows 7, 64 bit. I saw a similar thing mentioned in the website's forums, but no work-around.

Michael Jones @Markus J you ordered the 1PC 2YR license and it should be 2 years from activation date. Our customer service team will follow up via email and sort this out. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Michael Jones @Guy Simmons. The subscription starts from the day of installation, not the day of purchase. Hope that helps.

Michael Jones @Greg Brown. Could you try a reboot and run the installer again. Please send us a message via and we'll help sort this out if the above doesn't work.
