Do you know why printers have become so inexpensive? It's because the bulk of your costs of ownership come from your consumption of paper and ink! In fact, recent calculations show that printer ink now costs more than human blood or a barrel of oil!

Short of going to the Dark Ages and never using your printer, what can you do to conserve your ink and paper? The answer is easier than you think -- just use ecoPrint Pro! It's a printer driver designed to save the planet from costly ink and paper usage.

ecoPrint Pro lets you control just how much ink you want to use and how you want your pages arranged, giving you the power to use your paper stocks more efficiently. For example, you can tell ecoPrint Pro to print your entire document on a single page, combine pages from different documents, or any combination of space-saving measures! The intelligent design behind ecoPrint Pro means that you can reduce your ink usage by up to 75% without sacrificing the quality of your printed output!

With ecoPrint Pro, you'll be able to import individual pages from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, as well as web pages into a preview window, then save the whole thing as a single file. Rearrange and rotate pages, or remove them entirely! Add page numbering, watermarks and comments!

ecoPrint Pro can be used with any printer, even one that's installed on a LAN. Reduce your ink and paper costs today!

H. H. Hallo,
I just wanted to try eco print 2 pro, but I'm not sure if everything is working correctly: some of the menu points are in german, some are not readable for me, they seem to be in chinese or japanese. Is that intended or a bug
in asiatic symbols ther is e.g. the paper source (correctly wirtten is "automatisch", but 'the other line ha asiatic letters.
the 4th menu-point of "erweitert" (document options" only has asiatic letters)
what has happened?
thank you for answering soonly in advance
with kind regards
H.

Joshua Cowan @software guy: It seems the software is licensed in the most restrictive manner possible. It appears to require a license for every user on every computer on which it is used. If you share a desktop and a laptop with someone, the EULA reads as though you'd need to buy four licenses.

Section 3.5 of the EULA: "Use Restrictions [...] Each licensed copy of this Software may be used on one single computer location or workstation, unless otherwise authorized herein. [...] If you install the Software onto a multi-user platform, server or network, each and every individual user of the Software must be licensed separately or included by a multi-site license in order to access all the features and functionality of the Software."

As an aside, most vendors are extremely helpful when it comes to questions on BdJ, but I find it very irritating that some authors seem completely unavailable. I'm sure there are those with good reasons, but I hope they all realize how bad of an impression it gives, and that a lot of us who buy here are in positions where we frequently recommend products at our places of employment as well as to friends/family.

Avrami Tzur I am using PretonSaver Home - it is a license per machine, and you can get a household license.
As far as performance, I compared all the product in the space, and PretonSaver is bar far the best ink optimization solution.
