Please note folks, today's promotion is for the standard version of PriPrinter only.

Have you ever taken the time to preview a print job to make sure it looks absolutely perfect, only to find that your output doesn't match what it looked like on your computer screen? Frustrating! It wastes your time, eats your toner, and kills trees.

PriPrinter is here to make it all better.

With priPrinter, a lightweight virtual printer, previewer, and editor, you can be reassured that your print job will match your screen. priPrinter features an intuitive ribbon interface that lets you quickly discover and access useful features and functions. Using priPrinter is easy, just use your Windows applications as you normally would, then print to priPrinter!

PriPrinter offers support for printing to images, booklet and poster printing, duplex, zoom in/out, and more! Using just your mouse, you can adjust margins and gutters in priPrinter just by clicking and dragging, or remove blank spaces by cropping and cutting. You can even use priPrinter to save commonly used layouts and settings as themes, and produce forms from documents! Add an additional layer of protection to your documents with custom watermarks!

Once you get started with it, you'll agree that no other print preview application offers you as much power and flexibility as priPrinter!

Steve Coppard I have used this software for some years and it is absolutely wonderful! It has saved me a huge amount of paper and toner and the functionality of the program never fails to impress. So many utilities end up falling short of the mark and disappointing - never PriPrinter!

On the most basic level it is ideal for printing off web pages as you can throw away all the dross which often spills over onto a second page thus saving paper and because it handles double sided and multiple pages on a single sheet you can quickly save even more. It combines the paper saving with optional intelligent toner and ink saving as well as masses of ways to make quick changes before committing something to hard copy. I find it invaluable for checking off things like bank statements - you can mark off checked items on screen without ever having to print on paper, plus your reports can be automatically archived and recalled if you need to go back later. For me this is probably the best written software I have come across and finally I would like to thank the author who I have always found totally helpful when I ask a daft question!

I am not affiliated in any way to the author and am only a totally satisfied user but this software deserves to be widely used and I am happy to add words of support!

PS: Just noticed I posted something similar back in 2010 that I had forgotten about!! Still very happy with this software after all these years.

Robert W I'm holding out for the Professional Version as well. I own and have used FinePrint, and pdfFactory for many years. I'm just not prepared to spring for the full cost to get the Professional Version at this time. But if I had some discounts...

Aron Torti Hi Loco78.
Sorry, there is no such plans. As mentioned earlier, it is possible to purchase upgrade from discounted standard to professional.

Edward Smith Even with the discount, the professional version is only a 20% discount (buying the standard version here, and upgrading for $53.00 more).

Not enough to entice fence sitters like me who already have fine print. But for 50% off the pro version I (and seems like a lot of others) would give it a shot. But since I would have to pay $26.49 more this way, I'll just stick with Fineprint.

Even with the discount offered here, Fineprint and PFD factory combined are less expensive than purchasing the "deal" here and upgrading to pro. That's no deal.

Lito I ended up buying the standard version because I could use some of the features and don't own FinePrint. Some of the features in the pro version like adding text, redacting, or making PDFs can be handled by other programs I have, though it becomes an extra step to do it (for example priPrint->PDF Annotator->Printer handles redaction, text insertion, graphics insertion, signature, etc... for me). Still, not having some of the features I consider essential that are in the pro version is a bit disconcerting. The biggest ones IMHO are the font changing/size and the Reflow/Shrink features. That for me is something that is just missing in the software that seems necessary but definitely not worth $53 to upgrade to pro. I also found that using the pro version that allows standard licensees to use the reflow/shrink (at the moment) is not a good option, I found I tend to use the other features which then turns on the watermark and wastes my time so I uninstalled it and reinstalled the standard. If you don't have to change the font, and just manipulate the size of the text and positioning the standard version works for most of my needs and some limitations can be worked around. Your best bet is to download the trial and work through a few typical test cases you would do and see if you can just work around the missing features found in the pro version.

FYI just looking at the older posts, this deal seems to come around about every 2 years (2010,2012, and now 2014) and each time the comments seem very similar in that most posters are all looking for the pro version but so far it has not been offered here. So I wouldn't expect it to come.

robert gamson I'm another fence sitter. A lot of us who follow the offers on this site have programs that can do some of what is on offer. For many like me, therefore, it is a matter of refinement rather than absolute need. This needs to be tempted. Come-on tempt us !

Danny @Dunking,

Why not? You have a discount this way anyway?

Dunking @Danny
Sure, there is a discount but I look at the ultimate price, not the percentage of some arbitrary price that may have been bumped up just to make a discount look good (which is what the supermarkets do - I am not suggesting this software is priced that way, just pointing out that what you pay at the end is what counts).

Danny @Dunking,

I understand you! I also find it strange that there is no ' Pro ' version with this BDJ-discount. Most vendors do though.

Silver0066 I just purchased Standard and I want a refund. If you print a PDF file, you can only print to PriPrinter. No choice for your other printers. In additon you can't change your default printer.

In addition, graphics are all banded using PriPrinter.

BE SURE TO TEST EVERYTHING ON TRIAL BEFORE PRINTING

Aron Torti 1. Choice for printers is same as before.List should contain all your printers and priPrinter.
2. Default Printer - as usual in Control Panel >> Devices and Printers
3. Banding - never saw that. Please send an example.

Silver0066 Please excuse my post.

My hard drive needed a chkdsk. After repairing drive, PriPrinter still worked, however, there is still banding on graphics no matter if I use Standard, Compatibility or Bit Map mode.

Lito @Silver0066:
I didn't have that issue. For me priPrinter is working fine. I have been playing around with it for a while now and for the most part had no issues. The only issue I had was some pdf printing issue when doing really small text but it wasn't priPrinter's fault it was the pdf printer's fault. I have 3 different ones on my system and only one of the three worked properly when the text got smaller than a certain size. (I took a fixed width font text file that was three pages and manually squeezed it into one landscape page using the rectangle select tool)
