Scott Aldrich How does this compare to Calibre. Does it offer any features that the free Calibre software does not?

cyanic Looks like it's just using an outdated version (1.12, which is from over a year ago) of Calibre. Not much going on, it's just calling ebook-convert. You can do that yourself. No reason at all to pay for this software. I bet Epubor Ultimate is just Calibre with DeDRM. Now where's my GPL source code? I want to see what modifications the developer might have made to Calibre.

Link User I purchased Epubor Ultimate, and no download link was provided. There was no instructions included on how to download it, either. I am sure this is a reputable company, and that customer service will respond to my request for the link. But, the hassle of trying to figure this out myself, and eventually having to contact customer service (expecting a response in reasonable time) ended up being a real hassle. Out of all the digital products I have ever purchased online, this is my first experience without being provided with a download link or download instructions. This is totally unacceptable. If this company had been in the U.S, I would have reported them to the Better Business Bureau about this. I hope there is a competitor which makes similar products as I would had to have any further deals with these people again. F-

john lee i do had this in previous giveaway. but its just a subscription based. and i lost it when i make a registry clean up. but thanks to Calibre it saved my butt when i really really need to convert something. i'll stick to calibre, nothing to worries about subscription, nothing to worries when you lost the key, no worries for when you need it, when you want it. always there its FREE.

cyanic @Link User: You could look on their website and download the trial version, then unlock with the key they give you. That's usually how shareware operates. Did you receive confirmation of your order? If not, check your spam. You know, the usual stuff. Rambling on about BBB and stuff doesn't really help you get the software.

@john lee: The software uses Calibre as its core, so you're not losing out on anything. I certainly recommend using the original software rather than something from someone who just made a GUI and is looking for an easy buck.
