You've never seen a font collection like this before! How many times have you purchased fonts, only to discover that the collection doesn't contain what you really needed, or that the fonts were just kind of bland and boring? Or that you couldn't install your fonts on more than one machine? Frustrating! But with FontPack Pro, all of your font dreams are about to come true.

FontPack Pro is a premier collection of over 1000 classic, refined, designer and creative style fonts! What's more, every copy of FontPack Pro gives you a license to install the fonts on up to five computers for use in a variety of for-profit, commercial or personal projects. In other words, you have freedom with FontPack Pro!

All of the fonts in FontPack Pro are in OpenType format, meaning they'll work in virtually any application, including Quark, Adobe applications, Microsoft applications, iLife, iWork and more. No more worrying about whether your stuff is going to look the same on Mac as it does in Windows. No more worrying about errors in localization to international languages!

Macware Yes, all the fonts are the same; it is just packaged up for Mac users.

Jim Stone In case you missed the earlier giveaway of these fonts, note that this "packaged up for Mac users" version is still usable on Windows; simply ignore the __MACOSX directory and the Mac-specific FontPackProInstallation.txt file.

The actual .otf font files appear to be identical to the ones included in the earlier Zip file.

Jim Stone Does the commercial license provided with these fonts extend to using them on a web page via CSS @font-face?

It doesn't look like the included license terms explicitly address that usage one way or another (the closest thing mentioned is "web banners").

David Gilmour Since OpenType fonts can be used on Win PC systems too, why is this deal labelled Mac only? Is there a way for Win PC users to take advantage of the offer?

Macware Windows PC users can use these as well. We just packaged them a little differently to include instructions for installing and using on a Mac. We also wanted to try and split up the Bits du Jour customers who were downloading the font collections so we don't contact Mac users in the future with a PC offer and vice versa.

Macware Yes, you can use these on a web page as long as it is only used on your own website(s) and not shared with the world to use on their own websites.

Jim Stone Just to be clear, when you say "Yes, you can use these on a web page as long as it is only used on your own website(s) and not shared with the world to use on their own websites", are you including websites you create for other people as "your own website"?

I occasionally do some web design work for hire, so that's an important distinction for me.

Jim Stone In response to TE BOZ: the fonts are provided as a standard Zip file; simply launch it (e.g. by double-clicking on it), which'll open it (in Windows Explorer if you haven't installed any other Zip utility).

Double-click on "FontPackPro" and then double-click on "FontPackPro" (there are two nested folders with the same name) at which point you'll be looking a list of the fonts.

To preview any specific font, simply double-click on it. On Windows 7, the font previewer has an Install button at the top that you can use to actually install the font into Windows. (In Windows XP or earlier, in order to install it you'd need to drag the font into your Fonts folder, which can be accessed via the Control Panel. I'm not sure if Vista has the Install button or not.)

Brian Kittrell @TE BOZ: Unzip, copy all fonts, and paste into C:\Windows\Fonts folder. (or wherever your Windows installation/Fonts folder resides if elsewhere)

Macware That is fine, Jim.

Terr, the fonts are together in a zip file (not DMG) with the license information.
