Virus Scan for FontPack Pro (Mac)

O I The product site says that FontPack Pro requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. Can I install these fonts on a Windows machine?

Can you post a link to all fonts in the package? How many of them have Cyrillic glyphs? I'm interested in serif fonts.

Thanks,

To clarify these fonts are OpenType meaning that they can be used on Mac And Windows:

The OpenType font format provides a single cross-platform compatible font file for easy font management and improved document portability between the Mac and PC platforms; ability to embed fonts into PDF projects; superior print quality; and improved language support with an expanded set of international characters including the Euro currency symbol.

Gabriel Zastawnik Hello!

Does this collection include Easter Europe, or at least Polish national signs like a s c l ó and z ?

Thanks!

I'm no font expert but from looking at a couple of the fonts installed in Word I don't think they have Cyrillic glyphs. They had ó but not a s c l and z. I don't know what architectural handwriting fonts are!

Michael R. Do you have the german special chars ä, ö, ü, ß, Ä, Ö, Ü in all of your fonts? Do they also contain also other chars like _, $, §, etc?

And are they usable under Windows without the need of any conversion? (In DOS their ASCII-position is different as their position in Windows, so quite often EMails, etc. still contain strange characters instead of one of these chars)

Jan 17 2011 at 6:08pm Copy Link

Michael I tested several of the fonts and yes I can confirm that s ä, ö, ü, ß, Ä, Ö, Ü and _, $, § do show up - but I'm not checking all one thousand of them! Looks like they all have the standard Latin characters.

I'm no expert but I didn't need to do anything special to get them working in Windows and Microsoft Word.

Ok guys I've uploaded a much better screenshot that actually shows the fonts, check it out. Going to call it a night!

Stardust Hello, would it be, please, possible to post screenshot of all characters included in one of the included fonts? I personally need to know whether the fonts are supporting Czech language, and with that screenshot everyone can see whether his/her needed characters are included. There are tons of programs doing this around, for example almost all font managers can do that (I am using FontExplorer X, which is available as freeware too), so it should be no problem for you... Thanks a lot and keep the great work :)

Keith Norton Thanks for the "improved" screen shot of the fonts. Clicking on it prodced an illegible smear. I could read it, though, when opening it in another tab and magnifying it 500X. They actually look pretty good.

LU The screenshot, yes is much better, Nico.

I am interested in knowing if this software is for non-commercial use and non-profit reasons because of its discount because their "Features and Benefits" page gives recommendations for commercial use.

Is this definitely not being used for commercial purposes or am I just misunderstanding.

Staley Great improved Screenshot... would it be too much to ask for the other half examples? I really think this good great and am very tempted to get this deal.

Alain Lesage To Lifetime Upgrades : I had the same question and their FAQ clearly states that the fonts can be used for commercial projects.

Macware The fonts are all in OpenType font format and come in an easy to open zip file so you can open and install them on either a Mac or a PC. The fonts all support Latin characters, but not Eastern European characters.

Ok guys I'll update the screenshots again... copy and paste here I come!

If you're on a small screen you should maximize your browser to view the screenshot as it'll resize itself to the browser width.

@ Lifetimes - yes it's for commercial projects, not a problem.

LU Ok. Nico...

That is what I'm talking about. Great customer service...

I can't pass this one up because I just don't have the time to create my own Fonts and I can use these on my website if I so choose.

Perfect deal.

Thanks
