Whether you're an office manager who needs to standardize documents used by office staff, a salesperson who needs to spend less time composing documents and more time selling, a secretary who wastes time sorting through dozens or hundreds of similar preprinted forms, or a business owner who wants to make everybody in the office more productive, FormsAssistant has the tools that you need.

By creating forms when they are needed, you can avoid expensive printing and storage costs. FormsAssistant saves time by allowing secretaries and data entry people to use form templates for employment applications, surveys, medical insurance paperwork, contracts, form letters, and all types of documents where much of the wording is boilerplate. Instead of buying complicated billing software, FormsAssistant lets you create invoices on the fly. Sales people can write thank you notes in just a few seconds.

Unlike complicated form creation software, FormsAssistant uses a simple, intuitive interface. All of your form creation takes place right from Microsoft Word. Simply type or paste the template for your form and indicate the parts of the form that contain variable information. In minutes, you'll have a standard form that can be used consistently throughout the office.

DH007 Do I need the software installed for both creating and using templates or I can create the templates with the software and then spread the templates to other users with no Forms Assistant installed?

Manuel Onate The forms that ForrmsAssistant uses are just normal documents. You really need it when filling the forms, because that is when it will "assist" you. On the other hand, since the forms are normal documents, you can also use them without FormsAssistant, but then you will have to replace the values manually.

HJ B 1. Can a form created with this program be exported to pdf in way that permits it to be a pdf form, with whatever bells and whistles were embedded in the word form? I assume not, but the question is worth asking in view of Word's present capability to create pdfs.

2. If one needs the program in order to take advantage of the automated fill in capabilities, then does that mean if I send the form to anyone, they must purchase the program in order to have that automated capability?

2. Word has certain field functions that automate some form capabilities. Does this program take advantage of any of those field functions?

Manuel Onate Thank you very much for your questions.

FormsAssistant uses a completely different paradigm than PDF or Word forms. FormsAssistant forms are normal documents with a special markup to identify the places in the document where variable information should be placed. The program is used to facilitate the process of filling-in these variables, reusing previously entered data.

Answering your questions:

1. No, you won't get a PDF form if you export a FA form to PDF.
2. Yes, because the program is used to fill the forms
3. Yes, you can use Word field functions to complement FA.

I suggest that you take a look at the short tutorial that is available in our web site at the top of the page describing FormsAssistant to understand the concept.

Allan User I purchased FA (FormsAssistant [MOM19xxxx-6xxx8-8xxxxx]), did the install and the Addon doesn't show up.

Did a direct download from momsoftco.com and installed again, still the Addon doesn't show up.

Also the link from the installed Word doc has a link that is 404:
. For a complete explanation on how to setup FormsAssistant on Word, refer to the online demos available at our web site (http://www.momsoftco.com/...t_demo.htm).

A little help please :)
