Did you know that Google stores a unique identifier cookie that allows them to track literally every keyword that you search for? For now, they claim to use this information exclusively to compile reports, track user habits, and test features. In the future, though, who knows?

Even worse, Google's cookie isn't set to expire until the year 2038...

... unless, of course, you delete it first!

G-Zapper helps you protect your identity and search history by finding the Google cookie installed on your PC, displaying the date it was installed, and determining for how long your searches have been tracked. It then displays all of your Google searches. G-Zapper allows you to automatically delete and/or block the Google search cookie from future installation.

It's easy! Simply run G-Zapper, minimize the window, and enjoy your enhanced search privacy.

Groxx Somebody What, again? argh. Apologies for the comments on the wrong app (they were meant for "G-Zapper"), but their page is posting them to the wrong location.

Groxx Somebody You've gotta be kidding me. This thing is normally $30? For effectively a daemon that occasionally runs a batch script to delete text files that exist in a single folder?

No thanks. I could probably program something to do the same thing in about 5 minutes, minus the daemon. Add a script to attach it to IE, and viola. Every time I run IE, it deletes Google's cookies. Now cough up $18 for the same idea.
