Edward Smith Do outbound calls go against the monthly number of minutes? If so, what provisions are made so your cell phone can still be used for personal calls without going against the minutes? Since it changes your cell ID to grasshopper, it would seem that every call would end up being charged against the monthly number of minutes.

Len User This answer is in regard to the question about outbound calls and how they are counted against Grasshopper plan minutes. Grasshopper has an app for iOS/Android that allows you to make calls showing your Grasshopper number as the caller ID. However, it does not change the default caller ID for calls made from your mobile phone. In other words, only calls made from within the Grasshopper app's dialer show the Grasshopper caller ID and are charged against your plan minutes. Calls you dial from outside the Grasshopper app are not counted against your Grasshopper plan minutes.

Rodney Henderson I appreciate it is not easy to get software for your site but, how about when you have software listed under Free 100% Off GET IT FOR FREE, you make sure it's actually free and not just try before you buy. If you move the headings Mac and PC together like Mac/PC, that will leave a spot for Trial after iOS.

I think that having to uninstall trial software is annoying and you tend to forget about the program, on the other hand, having the usable free version installed with some extra options available with the paid version only, keeps the product on hand for visible reference, making the option to buy stand out more.

Anyway, I think free should mean free and not try before you buy.

Len User The "2 month free" deal corresponds to the RAMP level plan but you can choose any level plan at sign up and a $75 credit will be applied to your account. Regardless of plan level, once the $75 credit is used up, you will be billed at the current rate for that plan. Also, you can change plan levels at any point in time.

Len User The base cost of the Pay As You Grow plan is $12/month (excluding minutes used), however, your final charge includes federal/state taxes and universal service fees that Grasshopper collects and remits to the appropriate agency. At normal usage of ~100 minutes per month, the $75 discount from this offer will get you at least 3 months of our service at no cost to you.
