Program downloded, installed and registrated.
Does not work for me: Status 100% Open/Out/ Delete stays greay.
Tried with several files.

No files are written (verified with file manager).

Adolphe "Fine print" is overly restrictive in this offer : "You must install/register the software while the promotion is active, and cannot do so afterwards". So, if you need to reinstall Windows because of some malware or software corruption, you lose this program.

Frank D @Ra Pa: Product manuals are usually scanned, not text PDFs. This will explain why this program will not do well with them.

It is likely version 1.0, based on an offer of the software at another site that lists the version. The setup properties shows version 1.0, however the executable after installation shows version 0.0 in the Properties.

By default, the program installs into C:\Documents and Settings, although you can Browse to a different location (good for SSDs).

The program does not check to see how big the desktop is, and therefore the bottom part was below my Taskbar, and there is not Maximize button to get the program to display within the Desktop only.

One good thing about this software compared to several others I have tested is that it handles conversion to TXT better than most. An original PDF file with text that can be selected should be easy for any PDF conversion tool, but most conversion tools have problems when a pull-quote is embedded into the text. The program correctly offset the text away from the other text approximating the same location as the pull-quote was in the original. Other PDF converters simply mixed the pull-quote text in with the other text, making it more difficult to isolate later on.
