Got an iPod or an iPhone?
Apple's iTunes is a great product, but falls short in one key area:
If, for whatever reason, you lose the songs stored on your computer (re-format, system crash, accidental erase), it can be nearly impossible to get them off of your iPod and back into iTunes.
iPod Access is the leading iPod/iPhone music and video transfer application for the PC & Mac. With iPod Access you have instant, direct access to all the songs on your iPod and iPhone. You display and sort them in almost any fashion. Once you've found the songs, movies, and playlists that you want to backup, iPod Access will copy them right back into iTunes or to an external drive.

- “This is to say thanks for a great product. My son had all of his iPod music on my computer, and i just bought him a new one. he was quite upset that he could not upload all of the songs he had ripped from his CDs to his new computer, especially since he is leaving home. i did some web searches and deicded that your software offered the solution. It was reassonably priced, easy to use, and solved all of our problems. Again, thanks.”- John R, Albany, NY
- “I have been very impressed with the ease of use and user interface on this tool. I recently lost the laptop that I had my iPod associated with. This left me with my entire song library ONLY on my iPod and I needed to move these songs over to a new iTunes on a new computer. Your iPod Access tool was easy to download and install. It clearly walked me through the steps to transfer my music library over from my iPod to the new iTunes. Thank you very much!”- Matt H
- “Great software! Been a savior on numerous occasions. Like, this week when I had to install a new OS (and format, which wiped out all partitions--lesson learned) and, essentially, lost all my music--except what was on my iPod, which I can now easily put back on to my personal computer. Along with the purchased songs, which iTunes prevents me from re-downloading. Thanks, again.”- Ryan H, Encinitas, CA
- “You guys saved my butt. Had to reformat my XP drive and my iTunes music (14 gigs and counting) was not backed up. iPod Access is the only solution I found that worked right out of the box with an iPod Touch, was intuitive and generally a pleasure to use. $19.99? Cheap at twice the price.”- Scott H, Norfolk, VA
- “I like the fact that this lists ALL the entries in the ID3 tag information. In particular it lists the 'composer'. I like classical music and would like to find all the 'songs' say by J.S. Bach on my iPod. This is the only 'copy-back-to-my-Mac' application, where I can easily select these songs in order to copy them back. In particular, if you copy them into your iTunes music folder, you can then add them to your iTunes music library in iTunes. This way you can copy them back onto your 2nd iPod, if you wish.”- Boulez, VersionTracker
- “There are a lot of iPod programs out there that do the same thing (basically) as yours, but yours was the ONLY one that was able to fix my problem. I have a 20GB iPod only a few months old and about 1800 songs. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I was in my car ready to play some iPod music and noticed that ALL my songs were gone. I knew I didn't do some sort of sync or erased anything when I was last in iTunes when the iPod was connected. I figured some bit got blown away in the directory structure causing the songs not to be seen. Should be easy to fix, I thought. Apple's disk utility fixed a problem, but no tunes. Meanwhile, in iTunes, no iPod shows up. I ran several iPod shareware utils. Sigh...I was ready to give up. But I never do. When iPod Access came out, I figured "oh well, here's another one, may as well try it". Well when I clicked "List iPod Songs", your app showed all 1800 songs. I was overjoyed! When I clicked "Copy Songs", the beautiful thermometer bar filled as it backed up all my MP3's to my G4's hard drive. Your app is well worth the shareware fee for me.”- Anthony C
