LU I see your software policy says free upgrades for life. Is that the same on all of your software on your main website?

Also, with regards to the transfer of a license to another owned computer, can my laptop and computer be used concurrently at the same time for the same license?

You also state "Email license activation is required with a hardware footprint, and 2 installations per footprint." Does that mean if I am to reformat my computer and reinstall the purchased software, will that count as two activations if I previously had the product activated before reformat?

Thanks for your interest in our product.

Most software on our site including all those we have introduced to BDJ provide lifetime upgrade.Further, the license for DVD Creator refers to single user personal usage, which allows you to install on two PCs and also transfer it to different PCs in later days. Also, you can transfer the license to another user if necessary.

Hazen Hoffpauir 2 installations per computer footprint is a deal breaker. PC users have to reinstall their OS many times during the life of a software. and that would mean no more installations according to this.

Wondershare Software @Hazen Hoffpauir, 2 installations mean that the software can be used on two computers by the same time but not limitation to the times of installations. The program surely allows to be installed again and again due to system problems, change of PCs or other reasons. Hope it helps.

_*_ Jinlei, that is not what it says in the "Policy" above. I may misunderstand but here is how it seems to come across to me at least. If this is not the case, you may wish to notify Bits and have them update the policy for your product.

It reads, "Email license activation is required with a hardware footprint, and 2 installations per footprint."
It appears to say that the user can only install the software on a specific computer 2 times.

It also reads, "Licensed per user for concurrent use, allowing transfer of a license to another owned computer." This carries the idea that if you want to install on another system the license must be transferred to this computer from the one it is currently installed within.

I may not have it right, but that is how I read it anyway. Sorry, if I am way off base with how I understand the policy.

EDIT: I just reread your post, and maybe you are saying after you reach the limit, you can call/contact for more install permissions to keep reinstalling the software as needed.

@MB, The policy was provided to users who had initially purchased the software and needed to install it on their PCs. However, it had not considered the situations that users may need to switch to other PCs in later days or re-install it. Therefore, I would compliment it: For the user who wants to move the software onto another PC or just needs to re-install it, he / she can do so without problems. As a personal license, we only limit the the software which can be used only on two PCs at a time. If the software has been cleared from one PC, it can be surely be installed again on another one.

John Gallagher Downloaded the free trial, the file name indicated it was the full version. Looks pretty simple and easy to use, but unfortunately, it only replays the sound and no video. I tried mp4 and mov videos, but no luck. I have many versions of more sophisticated (Adobe, AimerSoft, AiseeSoft, Avid, Pinnacle, Corel, CyberLink, DVDFab, Magix, Movavi, NewBlue, ProDAD, Roxio, VSO Soft) DVD Video production software running with no issues. This product just does not work on my system, Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) with more than enough compute resources, so I must conclude it has some flaw, or lacks the correct video codecs, or can't interface with the video codecs on my system. Too Bad!!!
