So, you're ready for the big meeting. The flight wasn't too bad, the airline managed not to lose your luggage, and you even got caught up on your email with the wireless internet in your hotel room. Yes, in all your careful getting ready with your hotel info, meeting supplies, clothes, toiletries, and everything else, you managed to forget your work shoes, and are going to have to go to your all-important meeting in your sneakers. Now how are you going to get to sleep!

Too bad you didn't use ListPro. You'd have checked off everything on your list, gotten enough sleep, and would be watching TV with all the shoes you need.

Dierk ListPro was one of our mainstays when using Windows Mobile - from old Dell PDAs through a couple of HTC SmartPhones.

It is still a useful Win desktop app, but is currently hobbled (for many users...) by the lack of an Android version.

Alas, have still not found a suitable replacement - that runs on BOTH Win & Android - although Checkmark ToDo (Android), with its new (BETA) Win desktop app at least seems a step in the right direction.

webdancer I love ListPro. It is an awesome list manager and I've been using it daily since 2003. Unfortunately, it’s seriously long in the tooth. I’m hoping this offer will help fund development of a much needed upgrade and additional device support.

Too bad they changed from the clear, easy-to-see icons in ver 4.x and reduced the number of available icon options. With the new icons, it is nearly impossible to detect a "selected" "flag" without close-up peering. They need to add the 4.x icons back so they are amongst the available choices.

Other suggestions:

Additional types of calculation options for calculated fields.

The ability to export and import all category field data (even that not currently being displayed in the list) to/from a file so that the information can be easily maintained.

A "text only" paste option so information from other sources can be pasted into the notes field in the list-default formatted text.

Fix the "find” and “find all" functions so that they work in collapsed lists (without the list being in "Expand All" mode).

Android device support.

Did I mention better icons?

As this version doesn't offer me anything new, I'll pass. But, if you have any of the few platforms they currently support, you'll find the software very useful.

Lily @Ilium Software: Love the program, been using it as long as I can remember on my Palm organizers and on Windows. It has no equal, even today! I'm already a registered user, so I don't need today's deal -- but you know what would be great to see? A portable version. Listpro is the only piece of software I use daily that I can't put on my USB stick and use on whichever computer I happen to be using. Anyhow, thanks for the amazing program!

D Rogers Nice little program but the font is what................8 pt? No way to customize to make it bigger and visually acceptable. So I must pass on this.

The port to android and sync feature is very important these days.

Smokie Wall PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.....Android version. Need to make changes and additions to my ListPro lists when away from computer and synch back to my computer. Nothing on Android does anything close to using ListPro with desktop and Palm....but Palm is obsolete. Carrying two devices is also not optimal--and my Palm is on it's last legs. Been using ListPro for years!! Do a search like those of us trying to find something to replace Listpro with something in Android market...it is not there....and you will discover we will pay for an Android version!!!! We aren't asking for a free Android app.

You can change the font size. Right click the list name and click 'properties', there are five tabs, one of which is the format tab.
Took me ages to find it.

bvssunnydale So this is full price, why at BitsDuJour? I buy a lot of software I never get around to using (a good piece of software is worth 10-100X the convoluted/unintuitive stuff so it's a turkey shoot and, admittedly, a very personal thing) so saving a few bucks is a big deal (since, more than likely, it'll take me a year to actually try it and then I won't like it anyway. Hey! I'm supporting the American economy with my stupidity here..
