HarBri Is the download bundle split into separate components enabling each to be downloaded separately, or is it one massive block download of up to 2Gb?

Living in a rural location, the best broadband speed available is only 2 to 2.5 Mbs, so a single download of 2Gb would be problematic.

Summitsoft Corporation Brian, you might be reading about the Mac version of Logo Design Studio Pro; we have had some crashing issues on this application as we have been dealing with Apple making some major upgrades to their operating system. The Pro version for PC was developed independently in .NET and WPF and is rock solid. I have never received any support relating to crashing yet.

When you complete your order you will receive 4 separate downloads (one for each application). The biggest one will be Logo Design Studio Pro which clocks in at around 1.2 GB.

HarBri I was going to buy this software but with the negative comments from Al Soto and the negative comments on Amazon.com, I'm not so sure. Amazon are even selling a copy for under $6 !!!!!

With the previous adverse comments I found on review sites which Jason Hogrefe claims were for the Mac version only, the overall impression so far is that the software does have problems.

I would still buy it if BitsduJour were to guarantee a refund if the softwared does turn out to be problematic?

After all, if a program doesn't perform correctly aren't we entitled to our money back?

Summitsoft Corporation Al Soto: I am not sure if you got the Pro version confused with another program? In both version 4.0 and Pro you can add a line to the canvas by going to the Insert tab and selecting "Line" from the Shapes group.

In the Pro version (our vector based version on sale here today):

Just go to the Insert tab and select "Line" from the Shapes group. You can move the line around using the anchors, or edit the line more by going to the Home tab and selecting "Direct Selection" from the Selection group.

Summitsoft Corporation As for some of the poor reviews on Amazon, you need to take these with a grain of salt. Any software program will have customers who just don't find it useful to them, or think it is complete garbage.

To answer some of the negative posts: we do have "Flip" options to flip a selection horizontally or vertically. You can draw just about anything with the design tools and, since everything is vector based (including the 6000+ graphics and 2000+ pre-designed templates) you can add graphics to the canvas and change them into completely different looks by editing a graphics' layers or adjusting the nodes in Direct Selection mode; all graphics are vector based and fully editable so I would have to make the argument that they are not simple clip art images.

This time you offer a big bundle, but at least you include Font Portfolio!
I may just have to get this as all my Fonts are in older formats than Open Type, and I really need to update.

Well. I click on the line icon. and TRY to draw a straight line.

There is nothing to it but it DOESNT WORK.

It skips 3/4 pixels UP or DOWN, but NEVER STRAIGHT.

Summitsoft Corporation Al Soto: Wow, that is a good catch; very strange that it is just a tiny area that skips when getting the line nearly straight.

You can straighten the line out though once you have it on your canvas by going to the Home tab and selecting Direct Selection from the Selection group. Then click on the line and bring up one end until straight! I will make sure we fix that in the next version.

HarBri Discovered the problem with horizontal and vertical lines, but confirm it can be corrected using Jason's outline above.

I contacted you guys when I first got the program and got the same response. I bought the program back in June and paid full price at Staples. Was supposed to get 50 elegant fonts that I was never able to download from your site.

Now program $40 cheaper and 6000 fonts...

Ulrich Jason, there are problems with the docs for "Right Slide-Out Pane", "Combining Shapes", "Working With The Drawing Tools", "Editing Text", "Product and Technical Support" as well - that text is also shown in Chinese characters.
As the program itself is over a year old and TrueUpdate states that this is still the current release, do you have a timeframe for the fixes for the reported problems?

Albert C. I know that we can usually see this app here at BDJ. But it's a bit abusive to see that there's absolutely no discounts at all for existing customers that want to upgrade to newer versions. I can't think of any app right know that works this way.
Also, what's up with no minor updates? So you have to effectively pay everytime they fix something? Because if there are no minor updates I understand that fixes do cost $$$.

All existing customers of our software always receive a crazy discount when a paid upgrade comes around; we also extend our promotions to sites like BDJ. When we have minor releases come out before a new major version we always offer these for free. Some software requires more minor updates than others; it's just dependent on what type of software it is and what the software may rely on with the operating system. I was just trying to be honest with our plans for Logo Design Studio Pro because we had packed so much into the current version, and there have been no reported crashes, that we have not added new features, etc.

Really, even at full price, this software is a steal with what is included...then add on the two expansion packs and 6000 COMMERCIAL USE fonts - I challenge anyone to find another deal even somewhat close to this! Still, this deal is not being forced on anyone, so if it does not interest you, or if you think that we aren't giving enough to you now and in future free updates, that is your right and I wouldn't expect you to buy it. I would really like it if everyone saw the value and opportunity with this software bundle though.

unfortunately there is no product demo available, so I´ve to ask a question here: I tried out your version 3.5 demo, and there I was not able to create a custom - freehand shape which I could fill with solid colour or gradient. Did I make something wrong:´
Is it possible in version 4 to create a freehand shape and than to decide, if one wants either the outline or the whole shape be filled with gradient, image or solid colour.

Summitsoft Corporation Yes, the vector graphics are all in SVG (scalable vector graphic) format and can be broken apart and edited on a node level.

All fonts include the Latin Extended-A character set which is primarily Western European letters.

I got the v1.50 in september 2012, but I couldn´t see that before it was installed !!

It is true that there isn´t any rotate option for the shapes, before you group them ! And yes this is a difficult software to get used to...

Btw. in the LDS Pro there is 6431 graphics & 2064 templates & 505 textures & the slogans is a plain text file where you can add your own slogans too.
With the Alphabet Art & Sports and Games expansion packs you get 2004 graphics & 261 templates on top.
