John Brazier Beware: in their 'Everything' version it took two months to get registration sorted out, and the dynamic IP masking then crashed the system. Over a month later, it's not resolved. I'm dumping the product and asking for a refund - with little expectation! And remember, this is a security product. If the quality is so bad and the technical support non-existent, can you trust it to actually protect you?

John Brazier Your attitude of 'blame the victim' exposes your whole approach. How dare you presume the problem is my system on no knowledge? Well, I have several hundred - yes, hundred - items of software and add-ons, and they work ok. My networking works ok. My Tor browser works ok. My internet Explorer works ok. When we look at other comments for your product(s), they're 90% the same: when there's a technical problem it's "wait for the next release" or people just get silence. Your product isn't fit for purpose, it's as simple as that.

John Brazier Given that Evgeniy also manages the help desk, this is somewhat disingenuous. Anyway, I thought I'd quote him from his last missive to me on the "help desk":

"You have a lot of time to post angry messages but you don't have time to try to use software properly or try it on other PC. So you don't want to evaluate reability (sic) and usefulness of software or help us improve it. In fact you want to show that you are important person and everyone should pay attention to your opinion."

That's the kind of support you can expect, guys and gals!

Mask Surf Pro will be discontinued soon. We will continue to provide technical updates for existing Mask Surf Pro users until the end of next year.

Mask Surf Ultimate support anonymous work of all programs by default. With Mask Surf Everything you need to choose programs, add them to anonymous tab and launch from it.

So if question is which one is better, Ultimate or Everything, I suggest you to try Ultimate. It is easier to use and supports anonymization of all programs at the same time without extra actions.

I didn't scroll low enough to see that this program only works with Win 7 or 8; not Vista. I already paid my money and installed it. It's not working. How do I go about getting my money back? I don't want to upgrade my OS, either.

p3sto PR advice to ThankSoft. You should take customer complaints off-line ASAP. There can be any of number of reasons why a product doesn't work on any given computer. You lose more than you gain with a back-and-forth here. This is best practice in marketing & PR, and social engagement.

p3sto @JerryVoletto Not sure if you were referring to my post. To clarify, I did NOT t say that bitsdujour should remove comments or complaints. My point was at a certain point the back-and-forth between a customer and the vendor should eventually go off-line so that the two parties can resolve the issue and achieve a positive outcome.

We also sorry if miss the program because of it. But Mask Surf Everything and Ultimate has complex inner structure.Several files have separate versions for each Windows version. Mask Surf Ultimate right now has version 1.0. It is first public release. We still have troubles with Windows XP which has 18% OS market share versus 2,5% of Vista share. But we will work hard to make program work on wider list of Windows versions like Windowx XP, Vista and coming Windows 10. So if you use Vista a lot we will include it to test list to provide new release for Vista users at next promotion.
