iAidsoft @bean q We use two ways to locate the stolen laptop, WIFI and IP, it is very accurate, , usually within a few meters. This info will be very critical in recovering your stolen laptop.

J S Dear John, I really really like this idea (sort of similar to something I heard that Mac's have) BUT ... I have 4 questions to ask.

Q1. is the program installed simply installed on the harddrive or partition, OR, is it installed in some smart/sneaky way that stops a thief from simply reformatting the harddrive or replacing the harddrive?

"IF' I assume that the program is installed only onto the harddrive, and not the BiOS, can the program seek the laptops own unique internal serial or identification details or perhaps the internal network cards unique ID?

Q2. Am I correct in assuming that remote sharing must be enabled on the Windows PC Operating system in order to track down the computer?

Q3. what is the renewal or re-subscription cost at the end of the first 3 year period?

Q4. This question is regarding the section in the Bitsdujour POLiCY Bos which says: "... Each license allows installation on a single computer and a laptop, but miTracker Anti Theft 3 Years License may not be used at exactly the same time on each of them. ..."

If a buyers household only has notebook computers instead of equal numbers of desktops and notebooks (making 2 installations in total) does the notebook only family have to buy 1 license per notebook, OR, can they buy 1 License per 2 notebooks?

Finally, and just to be upfront, I am going to buy the product and if your answers - which may take some time to come because of timezone differences or other delays, is not to my liking then I may well seek a refund.

1. To be honest, currently almost all the laptop tracking software are installed on hardware, it is the same for Apple Mac "Find my iphone", miTracker also does like this. But our team is starting the research on how to build it on BIOS, i believe we can achieve it in not long time, and the customer who purchased old version can get the free upgrade for our new version.

2. No, it doesn't need this. MT is tracking the computer based on WIFI.

3. We can provide continued special offer for Bitsdujour customers. You can contact support@mitracker.com when you renew your license.

4. Currently 1 license only can be installed on 1 computer, but your said situation may be a good advice for our product upgrading, I will transfer this information to our tech department and they may consider to update it in next version.
