What’s worse than spending a lot of time building a prototype of an application? Finding out that it’s nothing close to what your client actually wanted! Time to build truly effective prototypes that really represent what your app would do with today’s discount software promotion, Mockplus!

Mockplus is a groundbreaking prototype tool that lets you build mockups for mobile, desktop, and web applications. With Mockplus, you’ll be able to construct complete prototypes using 200 components and with lifelike interactive abilities using an intuitive Drag & Drop interface. You know what that means? It means robust prototypes with absolutely no technical expertise or programming knowledge needed!

Collaborating on mockups could not be easier than with Mockplus. Use common markup components to make notations. Publish the project to a cloud service and you can get a link to distribute to clients and coworkers to enable them to view it. Or scan a QR code to preview prototypes on native devices. You can even generate an .exe file in Windows or an .app file on Mac OS X to enable folks to preview the prototype without needing their own installation of Mockplus!

After you purchase Mockplus, it may be used for 2 months.

E User This promo says that we can use it for 2 months but the copy I downloaded is a trial for just 7 days. When I downloaded the software I was never prompted to enter a license key. If that was the way to get the upgrade, I never got that option. How can that be changed? Thank you.

Sergei Lebedev It seems that no license key - internet connection is required for start :)

Eros User I've had internet connection all along so that's not the problem. Could you possibly contact the company and inform them of this?

Sergei Lebedev Eros User: I suppose this this is not bug but feature - no problem with licenses and keys :)

soo mi I am very disappointed in that the marketing people at Mockplus have decided to insult their "potential" customers here at Bits. On another giveaway site, they ran a "6-month license, for commercial or noncommercial use," not the 2-month trial they are offering us. Shame on Mockplus for thinking that we are unaware of what is offered on other sites, or that we won't notice they are insulting us!

Chr. R. In any case, the obtainable license appears to be a temporary one -- in my case license validity terminates the end of March 2019.

This isn't something I had understood in this manner given the description on the BDJ page.

Dunking @snow - I'm a but confused at this 'offer'. It is basically the same as you offer on your website and merely a short-term trial. After the trial, one is presumably expected to pusrchase a license, either a perpetual one or a subscription. So, what's the BDJ deal here? Is that license fee reduced for us? Perhaps 'only' $200 for the perpetual?

Flyfisher A classic example of why good quality techies who have produced a great product should never be allowed to meddle in marketing and sales.

Having used the product and its sister the data generator, why they feel they have to come up with a ill thought out confusing offer as this is beyond me.

Yosh M Yes, this is certainly a misleading offer. It clearly indicates that we are being offered a $199 offering for $0. However, $199 buys one year of usage on their website - not the two months being offered here.

This may be a great product - but I won't be looking at it given the misleading nature of the offer. Sorry.

Constantin Florea @Yosh M, Apologies about this issue. After taking a more in-depth look on the product website, specifically on the product purchase page:
there is no two months license available on the product website and since we can only promote licenses available for purchase on the product website, the giveaway should be indeed for the 1 year license.

However since we set up the promotion this way, we will leave it run as it was initially set up (for the 2 months license).

I have contacted the vendor to help clear this issue.

Again, I want to apologize about this overlook on our (BItsDuJour's) side.

Loyal Customer @Constantin Florea,
Probably it is not the best idea for BDJ to promote a product that expires in 2 pathetic months (or even in a year), but you most likely were mislead, like some of the people here, or, simply, it slipped.

The more important observation is the total absence of the vendor.
So many people are confused, or crying for help, or asking questions, ..., etc., and the vendor is nowhere to be found.
That gives us a very good idea about this vendor's care or dedication to support their product and their customers.

Therefore, it's a huge red flag screaming at me and telling me to stay away from this vendor's products. Such vendors should not be promoted on BDJ.

soo mi @Constantin Florea,

Unlike the vendor, thanks for following the comments being made here. On the other hand, given the absence of the vendor here to either promote their offering, or address the comments being made about it, I doubt that you will be satisfied by whatever answer they give you.
