“I'm a big reader... at least a book a week and this is a book library solution I really like. The ability to cross match authors and narrators with other books in the collection is a great feature. I can select a book and easily see what other books I have by that author as well as the publish date. Yes, there have been times when I've nearly purchased the book again until I looked in the "Author - Other Books" tab and noticed I'd already bought it years ago.More fields for information than I can shake a stick at but I only use a few. The interface is very intuitive too and I found that I had 20 or so books plugged in rather quickly... and I really like the way you can select your books by clicking on the image in the scrolling area at the top of the screen. Support Glen, no extra files are required... you don't need to install anything except the application itself!

The best thing to do is to download and install the application and the sample database - and have a play.

It's a powerfull application that even enables you to store binary files with your books record. This is an especially valuable feature for those with eBook Readers that allows you to 'backup and store' all of your eBooks in one centralized location.

Don Wagner It is a good program. The only complaint I have with the program is when you edit one of your book entries, in the extended information section, if you haven't entered a purchased date the program will automatically put in 1/1/1900. It appears to be removing the NULL from the database and therefor defaulting to the 1/1/1900 date. There is no way to remove that date so you either leave it there or change it to something around the pub date or read date.

charlie arehart Martin, thanks for being here to answer questions. I don't see any reference above (or on your web site) to the app supporting any sort of online/web integration, whether to post our libraries somehow, or to easily add to them that way. Same with mobile. I would imagine that the silence means there's none, but are these something you've considered?

Also, it seems odd that on the site (http://www.dataobjx.net/products.asp) the features box lists just a couple and ends with "and more", but that's not a link to another page (as you have for the next box on System Requirements). I couldn't find any sort of feature page link there. I almost missed the graphic on the lower right saying "more information and screenshots", since it was not a link, per se. You may want to add a link to that (http://www.dataobjx.net/M...ibrary.asp) on the "and more" of the features box. Just trying to help.

charlie arehart Martin, thanks. Can you clarify what that means for those who buy this version? Will the upgrade be free? for a fee? Any idea of timeframe? And for those who may use that suggestion in their decision, can you clarify please which "both features" you mean? :-) Thanks.
