Offline Explorer Pro is a powerful and flexible offline browser.
"But what exactly" you're probably asking "is an offline browser?"
Simple. Offline Explorer Pro lets you save all or any part of an entire website onto a local drive, CD, DVD, or other portable storage device for safe and secure viewing at your leisure. In other words: no Internet connection necessary!
Offline Explorer Pro follows all page links to ensure that the resulting website copy will correspond exactly to the original one.
Offline Explorer Pro makes websites available when you need them, even if the Internet is slow or the target website is unavailable. By putting important web sites on your hard drive, you can restore certainty and control to your surfing!

- “I just wanna say that you guys in the Meta Products have done amazing great program. I have tried many complete website downloaders, but those have failed miserably. Then I tried Offline Explorer Pro and it was great, very pro looking, very easy & simple to use. I just cant express how pleased I am now... Thank you and keep it up!

- “Wow. What great technical support! I could tell from reading the forum that response was great, but I wasn`t sure about response to private emails.
Doubt no more. I can`t believe that a full page email was answered point for point within hours. Not only that, but an upgrade was provided with an enhancement that I wanted to have implemented as well. Incredible.
I wanted to forward you a note commending you on the best offline browser currently available. My statement of opinion is based on use of the following "competing" products:
Teleport Pro - Used extensively;
Black Widow - Used moderately;
WebZip - Used long enough;
Zylox Internet Researcher - Used extensively;
HTTrack - Used minimally; has its place, but is very inconvenient;
Others not worthy of mention
All the above are fairly stable, but are really inconvenient to use, some more than others. It`s a shame that Zylox took its product as far as it did with what appears to be fairly good feature set; however, many of the features were illogically implemented.”- Brian K.
- “Just about to register for Offline Explorer Pro.....one amazing program indeed......
I must of tried scores of off-line browsers etc over the past 5 years........but none of them come up to the standard of this program.......
Other programs do not incorporate true user features and can be complex to setup, resulting in frustration with incomplete site downloads with loads of rubbish and unwanted data.
You incorporate in a very useable and friendly environment, the very best of downloading web sites... Real joy to be able to suspend and resume......that`s a great feature.......and superb to be able to save/export data. Superb feature to be able to save old files too......
Excellent user forum with fast up-front feedback and support which makes this program truly professional as user ideas and concerns are taken up and where appropriate, incorporated into future updates...”- Steve
- “I`ve been using Offline Explorer for a while now and find it a really excellent program. I had tried several other site savers, both open source and shareware. All had one or more deficiencies. One had difficulty with sites that are applet and java based. Another would do these sites but was hard to use and occasionally locked up or had GPF`s. Offline Explorer has a nice easy interface and I`ve had no lockups or GPF`s. Most importantly it has downloaded every site I`ve tried and I can`t tell the difference between the live site and the downloaded site.”- Bill Gibbs
- “In answer to your requests for comments on your product:
Everybody has their own need and application. Mine is to capture a web page for later reading, and possible export to another location. I do this because:
# I travel frequently, and would use this product to capture a web page that interests me, so that I can read it during otherwise unproductive time while disconnected from the web.
# Some web pages are SLOW and I would rather schedule downloads of information in the background, and browse information without delays.
# Many pages are transient, and I`m often interested in the information published at a particular time, but am not in a position to browse the page immediately. Using your product I can capture the page and read it when I have time.
# Sometimes I wish to capture web pages for inclusion as references in other off line html documents, and use the export feature to do this.
# Very often I wish to simply "save" a web page for future reference.
On the positive side I find your product: (compared to your competition)
# Your product is good. It`s simple, and it works.
# Easy to use.
# Excellent filters.
# Bug free (as far as I found ).
# Cooperative with our corporate firewall.
Hope this helps...
