Terry Whitford @Jason - That package pricing is only valid for the US (I see that price when I use my US based proxy). For us in Australia it's $99 without any of the extras (we always seem to get ripped off like this).

Jason Howard Sorry, forgot to mention you need to change the country and purchase it from the US store (it seems the various stores each do their own thing in terms of offers and pricing).

I'm also in Australia, went to the US store (there is a country drop down on that page - didn't need a proxy etc) and purchased - giving my Australian address etc - and I'm downloading at the moment.

Terry Whitford Jason, Yes, I found that out after I posted that message. They don't validate where you live so as you say just change the country in the drop down and it lets you purchase it. Thanks for letting us know about this.

Constantin Florea @Rose-marie Robaeys
I am not sure I entirely understand your question but, if you click the Buy Now button at the top right, you will see a pop-up window showing up and in it you can see the coupon code for the additional 15% discount. After you click the green OK button in that pop-up window you will be redirected to the store page where you can start buying the product. The coupon code can be entered in the page which shows your shopping cart content.

MK Great find Jason.
GBP 11.30 inc. taxes.
Worth it for WinZip Pro alone (even if it is v14.5 and not v15)

Roger Thomasson @ Jason

I deleted your link because it's exactly the same as ours. Our big green 'buy now' button redirects to the same page on the Corel Store as the one you provided.

Only difference is that we won't get credit for referrals from your duplicate link, which wouldn't be cool :-(

Roberta Przybylski Not sure what home page you are looking at but Corel's page in the US this morning is $29.99 and $24.99 for an upgrade. I can't see where they gave you an additional deal.

Feel free to post your original comment again BTW, but please leave the redundant link out.

Gray Lox Sorry, but I don't understand what's going on here.
You have changed the title from
PaintShop Photo Pro X3 for PC - 70% off Today Only
(like announced via email)
to
PaintShop Photo Pro X3 Ultimate.

That's fine.

During my first attempt to get the deal there was no coupon code about 15% rebate, now there is.
That's fine too.

The Corel page changed too. Why?

I discontinued my first purchase, to research about Jason's comment.
Now you deleted his comment, telling us, that it would be the same as the BdJ bargain?
No it's still not. There was another rebate about $ 15.- for subscribing the Corel newsletter.

When you knew about all the differences between your (great) bargain and the even better bargain of Corel, why didn't you announce it?
Cool that you at least try to patch up now.

It seems to me, that you are not very happy about all this - just a feeling.

Roger Thomasson @ Gary

Our promotion was always for the Ultimate version -- we simply neglected to update the title in the copy. Sometimes this type of thing happens when a promotion is booked last-minute :-)

I hate to belabor the point, but you are mistaken Gary. The links are the same. Look a little closer at our purchase page. The extra $15 off is right below the twitter icon -- in the exact same place it was on Jason's link.

Our 'great bargain' and Corel's 'great bargain' are one and the same (not sure why there is so much confusion here?). We just wanted to make sure that you all were aware of it.

Gray Lox Well, all my attempts to get this bargain failed :(
No code could be applied, check out over PayPal isn't possible. All day long.

It seems I will stay with my old version.

And no, it's not the first time I order from BdJ or PayPal.

Constantin Florea @Gray Lox.

It seems that for a short period of time the coupon code did fail to be applied correctly to the order. However this issue is now fixed and you can use the coupon code again. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Adrian Williams If anyone is having problems with the extra $15 discount on the website - click on the buy me link on this page and then use the code given to you when you use the 'subscribe' page. The 'apply' button on the shopping cart page didn't work for me but when I pressed 'enter' on my keyboard the discount was applied. In the email confirming your purchase you'll get another discount code giving you 10% off a further purchase. This deal cost me $17.99 or £11.30.

Louis H X4 has been released and it is my understanding that this offer no longer exists. Upgrades are currently going for $79 (US) or $99 (US) full price. In the past Corel has always run different discounted offers and my suggestion, unless you absolutely HAVE to have the new version, is to wait to see what specials Corel runs AND to shop around the Internet - via various user groups and forums - as you can sometimes find even better deals through them.

Tomasz Lisowski I have bought this application on BDJ. I allowed it to update itself to the latest ServicePack and just recently I found, that PaintShop sometimes launches the MS installer apparently to update its installation. Searching the web revealed the probable cause (faulty SP3 service pack, which removed a bunch of required files).

If you have this problem, you may be interested in applying the unofficial fix, described at http://forum.corel.com/EN...56&t=42717. I did it, and so far, so good ...

Since X4 version is out, I guess it is not very likely we will get a fix straight from Corel ...

John Gee Just bought this and got the BDJ discount AND the special Corel $15 discount. Ended up US$14.99. Just wish I had read the customer reviews on Amazon and I would not have bothered buying.

vps-rr to all who have reacted here, on the Paintshop Pro X3 discount, on corel.com there seems to be another discount action:

http://www.corel.com/core...rod4220093

Corel Paintshop Pro X4 ultimate version for $39,99

(and other corel products seem to be having discounts)

MechaBull How could PSPx3 be offered here at $99.99 when I bought it for $29.99 about 2 years ago and X5 is $59.99 on Corel's website. Is this really Corel offering this here or a company in between?
