Sure, it's easy enough to save Microsoft Word documents as Adobe PDF files, but have you ever tried going the other way? More and more these days, we're seeing all sorts of information on the internet take the form of PDF files - sooner or later, you're going to find yourself either needing to translate an entire PDF document into Word, or tasked with the job of grabbing a particular graphic or table out of a PDF for use in, you guessed it, a Microsoft Word document.

When that time comes, PDF-to-Word will be there for you. With PDF-to-Word, you'll be able to instantly convert Adobe PDF files into Microsoft Word documents, while preserving all of the original graphics and layout! Imagine the time you'll save by not having to manually try to replicate the look and content of a PDF document in Word!

PDF-to-Word does the job with minimal loss of formatting. Among the app's many outstanding features is the ability to extract paragraph alignment information, preserve tables, and convert images and most PDF drawing primitives.

Depending on your needs, you can direct PDF-to-Word to preserve the text flow of the original PDF document using paragraph markers, columns, and other formatting structures, or have the converted document match the original as closely as possible, in which case PDF-to-Word uses boxes and frames to mimic the "look" of the PDF. You even have a choice of using the handy wizard interface for helpful guidance, or running the program directly from the command line. Best of all, you don't even need Adobe Acrobat or Reader to reap the benefits of PDF-to-Word!

Tony Setti What about PDFs that are scanned images? Does it convert them to editable text with layout, or does it merely stick them into a Word doc? (Which means they're as uneditable as they were when they were in the PDF.)

Thanks!

Oleg Fedorov PDF-to-Word does not have optical character recognition (OCR) capabilities. It converts scanned PDF file into pictures embedded into MS Word document. OCR is a complex feature of much more expensive software products.

Oleg Fedorov PDF-to-Word has a lot of settings that could help to make conversion results more accurate than Acrobat does. Besides, not everyone who has PDF files has Acrobat.

d schall Just lost that sale! Tried to order, but the processor barfs on my email address, telling me it's anonymous, and requesting another one. I wonder how many other sales you've lost...
