Have you heard of Disk Mode? Most often, you connect two computers together using a cable, and the computer that's in Disk Mode shows up as a mounted drive that you can move files onto and off of. But what if you wanted to do this with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch? That's where Phone Disk comes in!

Phone Disk gives you the ability to open, copy, and save files directly to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch! With Phone Disk you'll no longer need to sync or export your files onto your desktop or laptop in order to work with them. Using the program of your choice, you'll be able to perform a File ==> Open operation and browse right into the innards of your Apple device just as easily as if it were a Flash drive!

All of this flexibility comes at absolutely no cost to your computing performance! Phone Disk sits quietly in your system tray, consuming very little resources -- you won't even know that it's there. And because it's so tiny, you have the option of having Phone Disk automatically launch at startup. You'll wonder how you ever got along without it!

Andrew Griffiths I skipped the POD to PC offer the other day because I'm confused about the difference between Macroplant's products. How is Phone Disk different from POD to PC? And what about their free program iPhone Explorer and their new app Awesome Files?

Bill User Yes, it's not entirely clear how the various products cross-compare. Also, it would be very useful to know if this works on iPads, too? Logic dictates it should, but in practice I don't make assumptions!

Greg Bryant From their FAQ on iPhone Explorer:

"Phone Disk mounts the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to the native file system of the computer. Thus, with Phone Disk you can access files on your iDevice directly through any program installed on your computer (such as Word, Power Point, Photoshop, etc...). iPhone Explorer uses its own custom interface to view and modify files."

Bill User Ah right! That's cunning - I already use iPhone Explorer, and have been suitably impressed by the depths it can delve. But accessing the iDevice directly through Explorer would be seriously useful. Cool, I'm sold.

Rodney Riggs What is the licensing? I have a home computer that I use with multiple children to sync iPhone & iPods. Do I need multiple licenses for each person or computer? Is there no discount on the Family 5 Pack, or any other bundles / products?

A. Goyal I had computer issues and could not place the order in time, if the vendor would consider extending the deal to me. Thanks
