"I need this product like an armadillo needs a porta potty" was my initial reaction when I first sat down to review Portable Notes. But, after only a few short minutes with the software, I realized exactly how useful a back-pocket digital notepad could be.
In addition to providing me a great place to jot down ideas and things that need doing, Portable Notes helps me keep my busy schedule running smoothly. Well in advance of an event, I set up a reminder replete with a Scenario, a Sound, a Text, or even an Action (for example -- automatically open a specific document).
But the real beauty of Portable Notes? It's a stand-alone program that doesn't need to insert its operating files into the usual Windows system folders in order to function. Portable Notes can run directly from any flash drive while still integrating seamlessly with Windows Explorer.
If you're into social networking (the real kind), you need Portable Notes. If you are an office guy or gal with a plateful of not-to-be-overlooked obligations, you need Portable Notes.
