What are people saying about Product Key Explorer

Techtoysavvy I tried it and I am not impressed.
It found 3 programs from 2 vendors but managed to take 30-40 lines which could substantiate a claim 30+ programs found.
I buy many programs on BDJ and I challenge any program to find even half the keys. This program found ZERO keys on programs purchased through BDJ.
BUT .... if it can find even ONE key you lost and want ... sure buy it.

William You might've sold me if your product recovered keys from an attached drive from a dead computer I'm replacing.

Bad manners imitating ransomeware on the demo by popping up a "Buy Now" dialog with no dismiss/close/cancel button.

Techtoysavvy The developer honestly provides a listing of the 5000 programs. I suggest people check it and see if their programs are listed. 5000 is not very many and is even less than it appears when you understand that Windows XP counts as 5 programs. It found my Adobe Elements key (counts as 2 programs) and Cyberlink is repeated many times. The program failed to find my Office 2013 key and Windows 8 key despite the fact that both are listed on the list of 500 programs.
Microsoft Office counts as at least 78 programs so .....

John Miesionczek I'm currently using Recover Keys which does a better job of retrieving the product keys better than Product Key Explorer which was offered awhile back. Maybe it will be offered again soon.

Varuzhan Kankanyan Recovery Keys scanning the network for product keys 10 times slowly than "Product Key Explorer" does, so it is not clear what John Miesionczek means under "better job". I think it just attempt to advertise competitive product here free of charge :))))

John Miesionczek I do not work for any software designer. If my post came across as if I were advertising the other product I am sorry.
I purchased product key explorer and I have been using the other program which seems to display more product keys. Maybe I missed something in Product Key Explorer but it did not display many keys when I ran it as did Recover Keys did. I will still use it no matter what. I always try to find better programs so I might buy 2 similar programs to see which one is better.

Enjoy:):):)-----------

disenchanted Question on licensing.

Can this license be used on more than one computer [that I personally own]?

Is there a family license? Like for 1-10 PCS?

The terms say, "Product Key Explorer is licensed per USER".

Well, I am a user with 5 PERSONAL laptops, that only I use.
So ONE license should be good for all 5 PCs, since I'm the ONLY USER, right?

Jon Spain I'm surprised and nervous that @disenchanted's question remains unanswered after 20 months, can vendor respond, please?
