When it comes to online marketing, it's more important than ever to be able to quickly deliver well-designed, professional websites that grab people by the collar, shake 'em around, and demand their attention.

The fact is, whether you're a seasoned professional or a wet-behind-the-ears newcomer, you're going to have to be able to create jazzy websites for a constantly evolving marketplace, just to survive.

It used to be a lot simpler in the days of the Wild Wild Web - just the name of your company and a few animated GIFs would cause an avalanche of new business. But everything's different now - and you've got to design your site to compete for mobile users, on top of everything else!

Lucky for you, then, that we've got SiteSpinner Pro in our roster. Instead of making you learn HTML, SiteSpinner Pro lets you take control instantly with an easy drag-and-drop interface that gives you the power to position text and graphics exactly as you want them to appear in your final product.

SiteSpinner Pro has everything - a built-in word processor and spell checker, starter templates, form editors, menu creators, and even an FTP client to upload your masterpiece to your web server. It's all in there! There's even a graphics editor! Import your own images, add effects like shading and transparency, or adjust brightness and contrast settings.

The original SiteSpinner revolutionized the way we create websites, and now SiteSpinner Pro sets a new bar by giving you an enormous set of additional features! How about the ability to create websites that are optimized for mobile devices like the iPhone? How about the power to create interactive animation? Plus, with SiteSpinner Pro, you can export to standard HTML, DHTML, and SVG, and experience your workspace in a new way, courtesy of an Opera-powered live preview!

Stew Cam SiteSpinner has been around for 20 years or so, and SiteSpinner Pro for about 10 years. The product website looks quite dated. I couldn't find a trial download, just a Buy Now link. Is SiteSpinner Pro in active development? This looks like a legacy software promo.

Jorma Nahkola From their website:
* Note that we no longer distribute, sell, or support WebDwarf or SiteSpinner.

If you have been a registered user of one of these products, you can obtain a discount coupon from us for the latest release of SiteSpinner Pro.

Peter White Yes, WebDwarf and SiteSpinner are legacy programs. SiteSpinner Pro is not. People who are past customers of SiteSpinner can upgrade to SiteSpinner Pro at a discount with a coupon. However, that discount is not a great as the discount being offered here.

Neil User I decided to purchase the software. I was sent the registration code and serial number but the program says the numbers are invalid. No help from web site. Nothing in their FAQ. Restarting the program takes it back to trial version. This appears to be a rip off

Peter White Hey Neil,

First off, thank you for your purchase. Rest assured this is not a 'rip off'.

Sorry you are having problems. Send your reg codes to vmsupportvirtualmechanics.com and we'll make sure you are good to go.

Neil User Well I apologize for being a bit testy. Support responded within minutes and is working on the issue. I wish I could edit my remark. NOT a ripoff. Just me being cranky.

Dunking Can an existing website be imported? And/or can an existing page be imported? I had a look at the product help but couldn't spot anything relevant.

Jorma Nahkola It seems that the program is not being in active development. The evaluation version v2.92 available for download above has a timestamp 2\15\2015 . Plus looking back to year 2009, the program was never upgraded to v3.x since. As well it says above: Platforms: Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista

Gary Smith The Virtual Mechanics website has a link for FAQs, but I was surprised to see that it leads to Facebook, which many people now refuse to use. Also, the Forum leads to a Facebook page. Both are closed to the public, and require a Facebook account to see the Forum and even the FAQs page. I cannot imagine any sensible company forcing customers (or even potential customers) to have a Facebook account, which obviously is not needed by many other software developers.

Since Virtual Mechanics has a web developing tool (SiteSpinner Pro), it should be an easy task to create a FAQs page as part of their website. There are many Third-Party Forum tools that could be installed to handle the Forum needs, so I have to wonder where the thought came from that has caused this conundrum.

Could Peter from Virtual Mechanics explain the logic of this?

Robert User There is a program with SiteSpinner Pro in the name (Broderbund 190525 SiteSpinner Pro - Web Design Studio Professional Edition) or just (SiteSpinner Pro - Web Design Studio Professional Edition) and I am wondering what the connection is to this software.

Gary User the online user guide has no contents. How much more of a scam could this be?
