- “I bought Sketcher on July 4th and must have played with it for 5 hours in the first two days. The watercolor effect, when applied to photos I've taken, always puts a smile on my faceāthe resulting image is fun to look at. Comes across as a real watercolor painting. I've sent some images out to my friends, especially when they are in the shot. I'm using Sketcher on images both large and small with good success. I've had modest success with the pencil, pastel, and paintblend effects. Oil and watermix effects, not so much, but I'll keep trying. Room for improvement, but overall, I'm impressed! Thank you for a great product.”- Bill-Ji
- “This is absolutely an awesome product. I read the reviews and looked for some ways to overcome the issues as pointed by some. I applied a watercolor effect to one of my photos, then opened it in Adobe Photoshop CS5, applied a filter by OnOne software called Resize to enlarge the image to (18" x 24") and the outcome was fantastic. I did not see any artifacts to the scaled image, the effect applied through Sketcher looked a lot nicer after this workaround.”- Green Pixel
- “I can tell you this is a wonderful little app. It certainly does do LARGE PHOTOS...I did 8x10 at 300 dpi and it preformed flawlessly. I got fantastic results. I do professional photo work and am very proficient at PS CS5. I did a comparison between Sketcher and the watercolor filter in PS. Sketcher did a better job hands down. If your not sure I urge you to get the trail version as I did. You won't be sorry.”- Roger Mal
- “This is one of the greatest apps available from the app store, especially now with the newest version. The upgraded functionality in this version is amazing. I'm pretty sure the watercolor filter looks even better than it did before, and unlike earlier versions, the final saved file looks every bit as amazing as the preview view. I use Photoshop CS3 on my laptop and Photoshop CS5 on my work computer, and Photoshop's artistic filters can't compare to these, even though Sketcher costs a tiny fraction of Photoshop. Sketcher's filters really do make photos look like they're paintings, and it does it really quickly and easily.”- BenTheDesigner
- “Love this app! It's pretty easy to use if you take a little time, and I have made some amazing images, even started a line of greeting cards with them. The only issue I have is in photos that are too large to work with and crash the app, but I worked around that and don't seem to have any more issues. I think any bad reviews are from people that don't have the patience to figure out how things work!”- smilesunlimitedraku
