CodeDog I'm afraid I don't quite get the subscription system for offline software either.

The fine print says free updates for life, but I assume that's only as long as you keep paying a subscription fee?

And at the end of the 6 month subscription, the software will no longer function?

Alexander Lehmann Purchase process works but when I try to active the license (Click here to restart SmartPixel) it fails with message (Firefox)

param is null!

I cannot run the pay process a 2nd time, so I couldn't try it with another browser.

How can I activate the software?

DroidLuvr I know this is a somewhat contradictory comment, but I have a few questions! -- I don't see the developer here answering questions though, which concerns me right off the bat :(

I have an even higher level of concern with the fact that I have to use a "PayPal" link and then create an account to get this for free? If it is free, PayPal shouldn't be involved at all, and I would think I would have the opportunity to download and install before having to sign up for an account ~??...

These somewhat obscure "tactics" worry me a little along with the others commenting here about such an odd model of licensing. While I would usually just pass on such a strange offer anywhere else, I've been a Bitster for long enough that I trust the initial "screening" by BDJ so I went ahead and reviewed the features pretty thoroughly. I am in need of such software, and I am still interested; in fact, I might even want to buy a longer VIP membership if I can test the software first.

So...
1. How can I test the software without the PayPal link and the sign-up?
2. Also, if I am interested enough, is there any discount available for a longer term?
3. Finally, Is there a discount available with Producer included with or without a longer term?

Now, I have to say that this kind of activation of software is cra... How do some developers find this kind of "account activation" to be "acceptable" and many of the "dumb" users ... don't. Let's hope the software is better than that ... after I get some help with the activation ... :|
