Peter Dr Several people asked question when this program was offered in April 2013. I wonder if the issues they raised were dealt with:

In particular the questions by Code Dog, Louis H and Ralph Bessler, concerning difficulties to get the program running consistently or at all;

Also, the question by Michael R about how to edit the captured video once the capture has been run

Have these issues been dealt with?

Joe Miller FileStream Take-1 Recorder is designed as a screen capture program with mark-up functions. One can capture both still and video images and mark up what has been captured with watermark, time stamp, and captions. It is not designed as a video editing program. All functions are detailed in the Help file. We are not aware of any difficulty in getting the program running. FileStream Take-1 Recorder is widely used and available through many major online resellers and there is no outstanding usability issue that we are aware of.

disenchanted Does the capabilities of your program include adding occasional "streaming video" clips to a desktop presentation?

The reason I ask is that I have used several different programs in the past, including the well known Camtasia pkg. I had audio issues (no audio from an inserted streaming video clip) upon replaying the clip.
I tested on several PCs with different motherboards and audio cards,
and only one program I encountered (LiteCam) could capture and replay the included audio and video from the included streaming clip.

I just wondered if your program captures both desktop input (sketching & audio)
along with occasional video clips (which include both video and audio)?

Joe Miller FileStream Take-1 Recorder can capture Desktop input (Microphone) and background audio (Speaker) audio individually or both at the same time. Refer to the User's Manual (Help) for more detailed information.
