I am not happy that you did not reply to my problem. Your software did not work after installation, and I gave you explicit information on the problem. You ignored or overlooked my comment and yet answered a comment/question for another user (Ralph). I realize that today the offer is no longer available. But I would greatly appreciate you responding to my question from early yesterday morning.

Nebulous User Buyer Beware. Unresponsive support. I can't state well enough how reluctant I am to write this. I tried everything I could to avoid it, even telling Softdiv that I would do so if I couldn't get support.

* Sep 25 at 7:05am and Sep 27 at 3:49am I was excited that Rick this product would fulfill a long need I have had - convert a text-based PDF into an image-based PDF.

* Sep 28 at 9:58am (the day it was released on BDJ) I reported that I installed the product and received an error when trying to convert. I was explicit about the error message I received. I got this error no matter what type of file I tried to convert, and no matter what I trued to convert it to.

* Sep 28 at 3:25pm even though my installation was still not working I helped another user (Ralph)

* Sep 29 at 3:21am (the day after the offer ended) I pointed out to Rick that he answered several other people but overlooked my problem and expressed that I wasn't happy about that. I again asked for a response.

From that point on I never heard from Rick. So I emailed their support. I waited a long time for an online reply before doing so - All the way until October 10.

In my email I was as thorough and polite as I have been all along. I described the problem again, linked to the conversation/problem report here at BDJ, gave specifics about my version of Windows and thinks like RAM and free HD space, and even included a screenshot of the error I was still encountering. I explained that so far I haven't actually been able to use the software at all.

I closed that email with the following:
"If you will assist me in making this work I will add additional positive comments on that forum for users to see in your future promotions of this product. As it stands right now, I’m disappointed that my report was ignored by Rick and that is the last comment I left there. I hope not to warn other users of poor support."

Again, that was October 10. Today is October 28. I have not heard from Softdiv.

So buyer beware. Others have gotten the product to work, but they seem to only support people who have questions, not problems. Shame.
