By now, everyone realizes that the best way to safeguard your files is by storing them on a cloud service. But how can you keep track of what files you’ve moved, and what files still need to move? Or handle the risk of overwriting newer files with old copies? Stop worrying and just pick up a copy of today’s discount software promotion, StaticSync!

StaticSync lets you synchronize files to cloud services with precise control over content, conflict handling, and scheduling. With StaticSync, you’ll never mistakenly work with older file versions, or overwrite more recent files with older files. Any file conflicts are presented to you in a clear manner, letting you choose which is the correct version.

You know how most cloud clients require you to save files to a local drive in order to sync them? Not with StaticSync! With StaticSync, you can create sync projects that will automatically sync multiple files and folders with the cloud, anywhere on your hard drive. Best of all, StaticSync works with all of the popular cloud services, and with multiple accounts within each cloud service!

After you purchase StaticSync, it may be used for 12 months.

This promotion includes the following:
StaticSync - 1 Year License v1.1 ($19.94)
StaticSync - 2 Years License ($35.92)
StaticSync - 5 Years License ($84.80)

John User It would be nice to know exactly which cloud services this works on before I download.

Also, one year license. Really?

Matthew User Yes, 1 year license.
Currently, StaticSync supports OneDrive, GoogleDrive and Dropbox. And more cloud storage will be supported soon.

John User Thank you for the reply. As an Amazon Drive user I will wait until this supports that and then give it a try.

juvp455 It looks really neat! I have some questions:

1. Can I install StaticSync in USB drive and use as portable app?

2. Does StaticSync support WebDAV in near future?
If it supports WebDAV like CarotDAV, that will be awesome!

All the best to you.

Matthew User You can copy all the files in the "Program files" folder, and StaticSync will become portable. In the future, we will consider compiling a portable version.

WebDAV in our future plans, please subscribe to our mailing-list, you will get the software update information as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your interest in our software.

Mario Demi I tried it with dropbox and get this message

This app has reached its user limit. Contact the app developer and ask them to use the Dropbox API App Console to increase their app's user limit.

Gary Smith I did not locate a comparison chart of the regular verses the StaticSync Free edition. I downloaded the StaticSync Free edition, which appears is limited to local drives only (no cloud drives). I set up a project, and the program did notice which files had changed, but I do not see how to get it to actually copy the files to the destination location. Is it a dud just to show what the full version looks like?

1. Can the developer clarify the difference between the two editions, and why a user might want to choose the full edition if backing up files to another local location?

2. Also, where is the Changelog?

3. Is there a Lifetime option like you have for other products? Or will there be?

Thanks in advance.

Matthew User Hi Gary Smith,

Thanks for your feedback.

The free edition has 1 limitation which is: it is able to bind 1 cloud account and the full version has not such limitation. You can open the Cloud dialog by clicking the 'Cloud' button from the main window. And add a new cloud account from the bottom of the cloud list (which has a default destination 'local storage' in the list).

The change log can be found from https://www.staticbackup.com/whatsnew
And the life time option will be available soon.

Any suggestion, please leave a message here or just send email to supportstaticbackup.com

Thank you!

Christopher Dean I installed version 1.2 to check out the features and unfortunately when running the Authorization Wizard to grant permissions to use my Google Drive account I am getting an error. As soon as I select 'Allow' I get 'StaticSync has stopped working' and the application closes. This happens every time. So while the feature set sounds great, the application simply does not work at this time. Thanks for the opportunity to check it out though.

Matthew User Hi Christopher,

Thanks for your feedback. We have checked the google drive account binding procedure and it seems work well. However, we are sure that some related return information has caused the program to crash. We will solve this problem and contact you by email.

Thank you very much!

Richard User One of the screenshots shows that user can enter one local subdirectory. I have files in many directories over several partitions that I wish to back up to a single cloud account. How would I accomplish this given the apparent restriction to a single local folder? (I would like to list each folder containing files to back up and for each indicate a list of filespecs to target, or at least a list of file extensions. Also would like to indicate whether to include all subdirectories below each named target directory. I'd prefer not to accomplish this be creating a separate project for each local folder. I want one project for each schedule and target cloud account. If I could mark individual files to be sync'd by some attribute - Windows 10 has many new ones (pinned and unpinned for example)- that would be cool.)

Matthew User Hi Richard,

Thanks for your feedback and valuable suggestions.
The current version of StaticSync can only synchronize different folders by creating multiple projects, but your proposal is very constructive. I will add this one to the planning of future versions. Please join our mailing list, you will be notified of the new version as soon as possible.

Thank you!
