And are any logs kept ?

gary User Streamza does work and is genuinely very useful especially at this offer price (I paid more than this for less Allowance). I dont know about logs.
Have been using it for just over 12 months and am very pleased with it. Initially there were lots of minor problems but I think they were reorganising everything and now its fine.

Amit Please dont mind but gary user has made only 1 comment, the above was his 1st comment. So I am still looking for more comments for streamza to be genuine.

Also does streamza allow downloading from torrent urls + torrents uploaded from computer in addition to torrents fetching by magnets ? As the fetching of torrents by torrent urls and files were missing in streamza, as per earlier comments, (addition of torrents was possible in streamza by MAGNETS ONLY).

As I want to buy but I download from many sites that dont have magnet links, only torrent urls and downloading .torrent files to initiate the download.

gary User Streamza is magnets and 'internal' searches only, sonic seedbox does allow uploads of torrents but costs more. You can convert a torrent to magnet but its not something I've tried.

Jeff Usher Paid 24 hours a go and still no code. Happy with Streamza as paid monthly for the last few months and the service has improved. Support and communication still appears way below par though.

Jos User At this time, I am not pleased with communications with this company. After purchasing the Bits du Jour offer, I received one email from Giuseppe Marziano
Director at Streamza asking for my username. I replied at 1:42 PM to the email. I have heard nothing since. No information about registration. I ordered this item at 6:50 AM yesterday which makes now more than 24 hours promised. I have emailed the individual named, a few times with no response.

And I believe that we have to convert the MKV file BEFORE WE CAN DOWNLOAD ?
2) Can we peruse the categories available Before we subscribe ?

Amit 1. When we have bought unlimited storage, unlimited traffic, then what else we need the points for? Do we have to pay anything more every month or so for extra features which are NOT INCLUDED IN $349. One comment said points are needed too which give something not included in this UNLIMITED LICENSE ? What's that ?

2. How long are torrents seeded ?

3. Is there any way to get refund if we are not satisfied after paying by credit/debit card ? And is getting the refund a long hassle ?

Streamza seems to have a very confusing structure.

It appears the customer needs to purchase several things.

1st, they are selling unlimited access here.
2nd, the initial description states the deal is for Unlimited Allowance but the description on the purchase page says you only get $10 towards points and if I am not mistaken, they are the same.
3rd, Streamza sells unlimited downloads and I think that is what this is for.

When purchasing this, buyer beware. Know what your getting or you may be disappointed.

Da User Fastspring reject my purchase :( Maybe because I'm using a Chinese VISA Card while I'm surfing with a Japan VPN; but I have no choice, it's too slow to load this site in my area. But when I used Alipay, it rejected me again.
Why can't I use PayPal on Fastspring to complete my order? I have got a Mailbird last year in this way.

And I won't contact Fastspring to confirm what was wrong with me. It's very common for us Chinese to be unable to pay here and there, even with PayPal. I'm done.

Jos User Giuseppe, there is a 2 way street when contacting. You need to respond to the emails sent to you. I have already sent a few emails with no return answer or indeed any indication that they have been received by you. Unfortunately I am using Microsoft Mail and it does not give the option of a receipt of email.

gary User Hi,
Maybe I can clear up some points raised above as I have been using Streamza for a while now.
All files in a torrent can be downloaded individually regardless of type by clicking on a link next to its name.
With Streamza you can 'stream' an MP4 video directly to your Roku smart device.
However you will need to convert MKVs to MP4 to stream them which requires points to but you don't need points to just download the files.
You will also use up points to have all the files put into a separate zip archive so that you can download them in a single file. I have only done this once when there was a lot of small files ~300MB and it cost me 1 point.

Mark User Pros:
There is no limit to the size or number of torrents that can be stored.
It has a built in torrent search.
Files anyone has transferred to the system are available instantly.

Cons:
You don’t really get functionality for life, because
torrents with many files have to be downloaded one at a time.
The ZIP feature requires points that are an additional monthly purchase,
and when it works, it only generates invalid zip files that cannot be repaired or opened,
so it is useless for large collections. (Other services generally include this.
No response from Streamza customer support after reporting this.)

The help and FAQ links are broken.
e.g. https://streamza.com//help (Removing the double slash doesn’t help.)

Documentation is sorely lacking.

You can only add torrents by magnet, not by torrent file.
(I have found no way to add torrents from sites like
Deamonoid which does not provide magnet links.)

All download links are void JavaScript functions, so you cannot share
a torrent link with anyone who does not have an account on Streamza.
Competitors like Seedr and TorrentSafe provide this.

This also blocks the use of download managers like DownThemAll or XDM, and
routers that will download for you while your computer sleeps.

Tiny scroll bars, and the inability to sort or mark files as
downloaded make it hard to track a large collection of files on Streamza.
The User Interface is awkward, and hard to use compared to Seedr.
Also some magnet links never work, even though they work fairly quickly on other services like: https://www.torrentsafe.com/

Will contact my credit card company. Does anybody know how to contact the Fastsprings. I'll try to cancel this purchase. Constantin, it looks like Bits du Jour is complicit. This company should not be allowed to this.

Jeff Usher Fastspring will refuse to do anything. Tried that path before and they just say they act as a payment processor and any grievance should be taken up with the supplier i.e. Guiseppe who, as we know, does not respond to any emails or support requests.

Would be interested to know if BitsDuJour have received a response to their queries over this.

John User In principle this sounds like such a great deal and I keep waiting for some positive feedback so I can pull the trigger and purchase it. To be fair, there is a bit of that this time around, but the negative posts far outnumber the positive ones so I will give in a pass again.

FWIW a few years ago I downloaded and tried the free version with a download limit and it just was bad news. It didn't download anything and screwed up my computer.

One thing about BDJ, they keep putting this Streamza up here - I wish one of their reviewers would give it a try and see what it really is and the heartburn it seems to be causing those that take a chance with it.

atariguy I never got an e-mail beyond the purchase confirmation, but when I logged in to Streamza just now (a day after purchase), I see that the lifetime membership has been applied.

However, the 100 points offer has not been applied. Is there something else we need to do for that?

Jos User After sending and email to both Constantin at Bits du Jour and Fastprings (Pass the buck) and contacting my credit card company, I finally got an email from Giuseppe. Oddly enough, I had gotten an email from him before asking me what my user name was with no explanation of why he wanted that. It turns out that you have to register at Streamza with a user name, and they then make your account lifetime from there. Maybe it is a language thing. After indicating that I had started the steps to cancel purchase, I got an email from Giuseppe again asking if I wanted to continue with the purchase or get refund. I indicated that I would go with the refund. He answered back that he had given me a refund. It hasn't been registered at my credit card company yet. I suspect Fastsprings of delaying tactics. They are not as fast in issuing refunds as they are in charging. From now on, unless I can use PayPal instead of Fastsping I will have to forego purchases from Bits du Jour unless of course it is 100% free. I have a story about that and Fastsprings, but that will have to be for another day.

Constantin Florea @Jos User, Please notice that in case of refunds for orders made with credit cards, there is usually a higher delay. In our case (we're using Stripe) the delay until the money is back in your account is between 5 and 10 business days. FastSpring may have a different delay than this.

K User This is pointless...I have tried to talk with Giuseppe but simply he probably don't speak english...I haven't got activation mail in time of creation of my account and I can't login there...He don't understand this when I try to reach him. Only said that he changed my account to lifetime...but I can't log into it and contacting both their support nor him is not helping. I probably need to get a refund as this is not acceptible, @Constantin Florea Could you please try to reach him and tell him to activate my account as their servis is not sending any emails?

Jeff Usher 7 days down the line and still my "lifetime" account has reverted to a free account with no response from support. Looks like I've been scammed. Suggest Bitsdujour refrain from offfering this product going forward to stop scammers like this taking peoples money.

Constantin Florea @Jeff Usher, Thanks for letting us know about this! I want to apologize about the issue. We (BitsDuJour) can only contact the vendor asking to help with issues like this. Unfortunately, for some reason, the vendor doesn't reply to our emails either. So the only way is to either wait for the vendor to respond or ask for a refund. The refunds should be requested in FastSpring:

which is the e-Commerce used during the promotion. When asking for the refund please mention that the vendor doesn't reply to your emails to help fix the issue.

Chris Streamza is gone, been a WordPress coming soon site for months now with no replies from him via Twitter etc.

We all got scammed out of our money and he kept milking me personally for more money for lifetime this and that and now the site is no more.
