MBPBo Just out of curiosity, what ever became of "Version 2 is due for release in june 2010"?

From what I can tell, version 1.3 (offered in March to BDJ customers) just recently got bumped to version 1.4, but that's still no version 2. Will purchasers of version 1.3 in March 2010 be seeing version 2 within the 12-month free upgrade period (as was certainly stated in March)?

Ankit Thukral SwiftCompare version 2 was due for release in June 2010, but got stalled due to some unforeseen circumstances. The same is now due for release in Feb 2011.

Because of this, it has been decided to offer SwiftCompare version 1.3 (and subsequent versions) users a free upgrade to version 2, notwithstanding the date of purchase.

Ankit Thukral Are you running the installation as an Administrator? You need to, since you need Admin priviledges for the same.

Kevin Houser Is the Explorer context menu option broken on Win7 x64? After install, I right click a file from explorer, yet, I do not see any context menu for SwiftCompare. Otherwise the install completed properly.

Carl Lum I'm trying to purchase Swift Compare. When I click the "Buy Now" button, I get the order page, with coupon code "BDJ" inserted, and the discounted price showing (clicking "Recalculate" confirms the code is good). But when I enter my name and address and select Paypal, the new screen complains coupons code "BDJ" is invalid and it will not give me the discount! (Clicking "Recalculate" now has no effect.) I've tried this several times in both Firefox and IE with the same results.

Kevin Houser Yes, the option to include SwiftCompare in explorer context menu is turned on. I am running Win7 x64, not the 32 bit Win7. But I still don't get the explorer context menu for SwiftCompare when right clicking files or folders in explorer.

Any ideas on how to solve the problem? Thanks.

Carl Lum Ankit, the link still doesn't work. When I first go there, the "BDJ" coupon code is inserted and the discounted price shows. But as soon as I enter my name and address and select 'Paypal', the coupon code is rejected as "Invalid" when I click "Next". This is the same as what happened yesterday.
