Virus Scan for Text Paster 3 License Pack

Mary Wilson Went to try this program as I was looking for something like this. Unfortunately, I could not get it to work at all. Tried the help function on how to get it to work and there was nothing at all in the program and nothing at the websight to get it to work. Hopefully, they will fix this help function problem as it looks like a nice program.

Kelly Major I thought this app looked interesting as well but until I see any evidence that Marys issue is addressed I'm not going to even try it.

I know developers have difference schedules so I will check back throughout the time of the offer.

Kelly Major @Greg Newell

I skipped it since the vendor apparently wasn't interested enough to respond here. It doesn't give me much confidence in the support when sales isn't even responding. Hopefully it was just some kind of anomaly.

I hope it works well for you, it looks like a nice app. I clicked on "I Want This" so if it comes up again we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for your comments. - KEM

ddalian This looks like a very useful program but the download did not include and documentation, help file or tutorial. When you click on the online help menu item it takes you to the main web site. Are there any instructions or tutorials available?

There isn't any online help at this time, but Atnsoft will respond to emails fast if you ever have a question or concern..

I have this and another text paster program of theirs. Good software.

I am very surprised that someone would sell a piece of sofware with no instructions. It doesn't seem overly complicated but I really don't want to send a lot of time tring to figure it out then deciding It really won't work for me. A single page of instructions would do it.

If you go to their site, they have screenshots and a brief description of the program.
If you installed it, it does have a drop down help menu and you can click online help. I'm not sure what is there as I purchased it and a month later purchased their Key Manager which does all the Text Paster does and more.

Danny So this application software is actually also used in Key Manager?

Mar 17 2013 at 12:13am Copy Link

2

ATNSOFT Yes, Key Manager has all functions of Text Paster.

ATNSOFT - Mar 17 2013 at 1:25am Copy Link

2

Chris @ Danny Thys

The two programs are made by the same developer. I believe the correct way to say it is Text Paster is just that, you assign keys to text in the program and when you use the hot key combinations for one of your text snippets, it will paste it for you. It has, I believe, 2 methods of pasting, which are 1. just like you would do it with the Ctrl +v and 2. it simulates typing the text.

Key Manager does that, but also a lot of other things, like you can assign folders or programs to open with your choice of hot keys.

I hope this helps some. I haven't really messed with the Key Manager much, I have a bunch of text stuff set up in it to paste, but I will soon be adding some folders and programs I use a lot into it.

Thank you

Q: I guess the next question is you have another program called Key Remapper. Are all those product features in Key Manager as well?

A: Yes, except - Key Manager does not allow to remap the modifier keys: Alt, Ctrl, Shift and Win. We will try to implement this feature in future versions.

Amit Hello,
I would like to know some features of the software.
1. Can the large text of snippets be triggered to paste by other ways than hotkeys too. and importantly by writing just short texts as say efef sends - the long text - emal

gmail.com.
2. And about the form filling, does it detect all the fields of the form well based on the respective field and not error with writing wrong data to the field texts.
3. Also, is your software key manager a full featured macro software. As I have seen its praise on bitsdujour. And does it support mouse gestures (not mouseclicks, but rightclick drag gestures) and osd (onscreendisplay features) too ?

A: These features are not supported at the moment. We know about them and will try to implement in future versions.

Q: 2. And about the form filling, does it detect all the fields of the form well based on the respective field and not error with writing wrong data to the field texts.

A: No, it doesn't detect. You can just implement a scheme like: typing, Tab, typing, Enter etc. and limit it to a specific window or program.

Dec 8 2016 at 6:14pm Copy Link

0

ATNSOFT Currently, there is no help file. But the program is very simple.
"3 alpha keys" — this feature is not available at the moment. You can assign phrases to just keys, mouse buttons, combinations (with Ctrl, Shift etc.), long presses (press and hold) and popup menus.

Dec 9 2016 at 12:08am Copy Link

0

ATNSOFT "I can't possibly remember all the combinations" — you can use popup menus. To set hotkeys to menu items, use the "&" sign before the necessary character in the names of nested menu actions. Example: Paste &date ("d" will be a hotkey).

Yes, you can also try Key Manager – a more functional version of the program Text Paster that, in addition to pasting text, has many other useful functions. For example, Key Manager allows you to remap keys and mouse buttons, combinations, sequences, and long presses (press and hold). You can show your actions in the form of pop-up menus that can be opened with hotkeys, record, edit, and execute macros (key sequences), emulate mouse clicks, type and paste text (including formatted text), instantly fill in forms on websites, launch programs, open websites (you can insert currently selected text into their address parameters), change the layout and case of selected text, manage the power settings of your monitor and computer, control the volume or set it at a certain level, move and resize windows, and much more.
