Jan User I could not process unicode data with your software. Are there any plans to solve this limitation?

Gary User I'm going to repeat HJB's comments from 2017 because 3 years later, it is just as applicable today as I had the exact same experience.

Doug Atkinson Recommend downloading the demo version before buying to see if you can figure this tool out - as mentioned above the Help documentation is greatly lacking, and the sample templates are very generic. If the software has complex parsing capabilities these are not shown in the templates and there's no easy way to figure it out. The templates in the installed software are dated 2008, and the License agreement is dated 2011.

disenchanted If you have a PDF file with embedded text from a picture file format
[example: a PDF that had imported a GIF or PNG containing text]

1. Can the OCR features of this search tool, discern and extract
those types of text?

2. Or is it seen as a picture file format and just skipped over?

There is a box at the top : CR/CL with this inside : \r\n

Can you explain the different options and what they do please ?
