You love the Sims 2 - in fact, you love it so much that you've spent hours in the game and still haven't gotten anywhere near to the bottom of all of that amazing original content! But you know what? While you've had your nose buried in the Sims 2, the publisher has been cranking out LOADS of additional content, and today you can pick and choose at a spectacular discount!

The Sims 2 Apartment Life gives you everything that you need to nestle your Sim into the perfect apartment, whether that's a loft, a shared arrangement, or a cozy love nest for a young couple! And, of course, The Sims 2 Apartment Life comes with all of the usual crazy personalities that we all know and love from apartment living!

The Sims 2 Double Deluxe lets you take your Sims and celebrate the signing of their apartment lease! The Sims 2 Double Deluxe gives you both the Nightlife and Celebration Stuff packs, letting you paint the town red, go on dates, and then host social events like weddings, parties, and more!

Fun is not all fun unless there's serious business to balance it out, so The Sims 2 Bonanza also gives you The Sims 2 University Life Collection. Relive your college experience in digital form with classes and learning and other college stuff, along with additional content that lets you rock your teen style and blow what little simoleans you have on IKEA!

And when you get out of college, what are you supposed to do? Go to work, of course! The Sims 2 Best of Business Collection gives you the tools to launch and run your own business! Put all of those academic tidbits to work for you and become the ultimate business owner!

Rounding out The Sims 2 Bonanza are The Sims 2 Fun With Pets, giving you a cuddly animal to fill the void in your Sim's lonely at-home existence! The Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff lets you buy your way to happiness with a variety of luxury furniture and clothing! Tired of it being sunny and cloudless all of the time in your Sim's town? Try The Sims 2 Seasons and get some snow on the ground! Need to get away from it all? The Sims 2 Bon Voyage lets your Sim take the vacation that you've always wanted to take in real life!

What's left? Of course, it's The Sims 2 Free Time, which gives your Sim a whole new set of hobbies to engage in, provided they're not going to school, running a business, shopping, dating, or going on vacation with their pets!

Stefan Hauber As it seems the price of $11,97 is for a single add-on (and not the price for Sims2 together with all 9 add-ons), isn't it?

I was looking forward to getting that.

Samm Coleman Why won't someone from Bitsdujour at least post an apology or answer the questions? I've been wanting to try this game for years but can't afford it. Bad Business.

Charles User Even this seems to be unavailable. I couldn't find Sims 2 Bonanza at the Digital River EA Store. Another marketing SCAM by EA? Let alone Sims 2 free....

Paul Girardin Like the others, came here for the 100% off on Sims 2.

I dislike false advertising or marketing scams like these.

Enough of those and you start losing credibility!

Roger Thomasson Sorry folks, the 0% thing wasn't intentional. Unfortunately EA didn't get us the prices for the promotion until after the mailing had gone out and the system defaulted to the 100% discount. My mistake. We should probably pick a different default....

Sorry for the confusion!

Anony Mouse It's too bad the discounted package didn't even include The Sims 2, I probably would have purchased it if it had. Expansion packs don't help me any...

Erifili Davis I keep clicking to order but it just goes to the EA front page - any ideas how to order??

Louis H Stuff happens, Roger. I, for one, prefer to rate you all based upon the overall positive history I've had with BDJ and the vendors I have purchased from. I have only had one "bad" incident with something I purchased via a BDJ offer - and it was due to the vendor and NOT BDJ. And BDJ allowed me to post my comments about the vendor so others could learn from my experience. My record with vendors NOT offering their apps via BDJ has been a LOT worse!

So folks, unless you are specifically looking to find a reason to voice your negativity towards BDJ, may I suggest you allow for the occasional hiccup, and not throw the proverbial baby out with the bathwater?

P.S. Caps used to emphasize certain words and not intended to represent yelling. :)

Nico Westerdale Thanks Louis, again sorry for the goof, again certainly not intentional, we don't play games like that here, and that's why we keep an open comments board. Sometimes Sunday comments go unanswered for a while, I for one have my hands full with a 2-month old!

Anony Mouse Yeah, things happen. No big deal! I was thinking about buying it anyway and getting The Sims 2 from Amazon for £5 but the buy link seems to forward me to the main UK page. Is this deal for US customers only?

Erifili Davis Nico thanks for the reply but can't find the 'Shop Sale' button - am (automatically) entering as AU region - would that make a difference?

Anony Mouse Well, this deal is done now but out of curiosity, was this for US residents only?

I'll check into this. We're going to have future EA deals so it'll be good to have an answer :-)
