Thomas Duntze Hello,

can I create rules or use the manual move function to send emails to other pst-files immediately or do I have to use the main pst first?
Thanks - Thomas

Silat Hi,

Why is this better than just creating a rule with Outlook?

Daniel . @Silat; I was thinking the same thing here as well and to me it doesn't look all that good.

Luther I really don't know if this program is any good or not. However, why not just create a rule? Take it from an avid rule user, rules get very cumbersome very quickly if you use more than a few of them.

Yuri Mylis It seems that we are having some technical issues and activation keys are not being sent.
We apologize for this and are working to resolve the issue.
I will post an update here as soon as the issue is resolved.

Peter Blaise Apparently we get a license key directly from the maker's web site, not from BDJ as we would normally get -- so, click [Get It For Free] and enter your email into the manufacturer's web site when it pops up, then download the trial, and wait for a license to arrive in your email.

Michael Johnsson Why even use Microsoft Mail? There are so many other better alternatives, free even.

I think if you combine this deal and Microsoft Mail, your almost as good as Thunderbird.

Elizabeth Bright I have quite a lot of folders and subfolders and have managed to hit the limit on rules allowed for Outlook 2007. This usually means turning off older rules or perhaps reorganizing some folders to better purposes. This software peaks my interest but I'm not sure I have the right grasp of it.

1) Is the point of this software really to avoid the limit of Outlook rules? Or is the goal something else?

2) Is it basing it's logic off of the email sender, subject, body or all of it together? My rules are sometimes based off of just text in the sender or the subject..

3) Is it always a manual process or will it learn to start automatically moving emails (and if it's the latter, is their a log to find them?)

4) Lastly, I don't like mixing my sent emails with my received folders. Is there a way to suppress the software from asking to file outgoing emails, or suppress it from including those in filing the thread of an email?

Thanks!

Jann Martin I would like to see the makers of this program answer some of these questions today before I download. I use Outlook 2010 and don't want to have any program doing the same thing a Microsoft program already can do unless it is somehow different. So, the question has been asked, why not just use the Rules function in Microsoft to accomplish what Tuckaway does? Someone please answer the question. Thank you.

Yuri Mylis The innovation is this software that it relies on an internal learning system that monitors the filing preferences of the user and then suggests the right destination folder when the user wants to file an email.

It analyzes different attributes of the email to determine this.
The system adapts to the way the user files his emails and does not require the manual creation of rules.

It can either work as a supplement to Outlook rules or on it's own.

It can move entire conversation in one click even if the emails are spread across several folders.

TuckAway can prompt you after an email is sent and ask where to file it, while suggesting the best match.

TuckAway also includes a filing dialog that is much easier to use than the default one when selecting folders as it has a quick search feature.

These and other features significantly simplify emails filing to the right folders.

Yuri

Jann Martin Thank you Yuri. I would also like to know whether or not this program will import existing outlook Rules into Tuckaway. I currently have the maximum rules in Outlook 2007 and do not want to re-create them just to use TuckAway.

TuckAway does not use the Outlook rules system, it has it's own system. You will not need to recreate rules.

Jim Stone Any word on what the "problem" with this deal is?

I was able to get a registration code for it earlier today with no problem, but I haven't had a chance to try the program yet. (The version of Outlook on this computer is apparently too ancient to work with this addon. I was going to try installing it on a more recent computer later.)

Luther Yuri,

I just installed Tuckaway. Nothing in the installation suggested how to get the registration code. I clicked on the get registration code link and was prompted on your web site to purchase Tuckaway. I press F1 for help and all I get is Outlook 2010 help. Also the fisrt message I read I was prompted to move it. Tuckaway crashed.

Are you able to get me fixed up?

Sandro Perotti I already received the code and installed it, thank you very much.
There's one issue that puzzles me and want to make sure. The "Settings" button has only one entry: "Default Folder" (for sent messages it seems).
Is that all? Are there no other settings? If so, how do I access them?
Thanks again.

Scott Wood I use outlook on three computers; my laptop, office desktop and home desktop. Will the program organize (sync) and place the same files and contents on each computer? If yes, would I need more than one license?

Dieter Matissek Hello,
I have tried to get the activation code/license. Since this morning no e-mail arrived me from Celiosoft.
What goes wrong here? I have tried different e-mail addresses - no one of these e-mails did work for me (since this morning). Or is the response so big that the response need so much time?

Dieter

Out software has minimal number of settings. The idea is that the whole filing and folder predication system is automated, there is no need to configure it. I learns the filing preferences as you uses it, and improves over time.

Greg Newell Given the lack of support for Outlook 2013, I've sought alternatives. For any of you in the same boat, you might want to check out SimplyFile (from TechHit). In many ways, I like it better. It is more expensive.
