The more we rely on portable storage devices to house our most important and confidential data, the more cautious we should be regarding the myriad risks associated with portable storage media. The increasing dependance on USB flash drives has aggravated the possibility of data loss, theft, tampering, and snooping!

Thanks to USB Secure you'll be able to safeguard all of your portable data in just a few clicks!

USB Secure provides strong password protection for all of your portable media including external drives, memory cards, jump drives and thumb drives.

With USB Secure, you'll never need to install a local client or worry about having administrator rights over the computer that you're using. Just a single click and USB Secure makes sure that your sensitive information is locked down tight. Once installed onto your USB drive, USB Secure creates an automatic preloader that will serve as a gatekeeper, guarding against all unauthorized users who lack the correct password.

So stop relying on dodgy internet connections to get to cloud services that may or may not be working correctly anyway! Take your most important files with you on local storage, and enjoy the safety and security of strong password protection with USB Secure!

Stan I just read the "Deal coming soon". Therefore, my experience report:
Newsoftwares.net wrote that they are using a "different protection technique designed by the engineers at NewSoftwares". But this is no protection.
I bought USB Secure 2014 and after the installation I found that the software is unsafe. The files to be protected are moved to a directory (It's a hardlink -> USB DriveLetter: \ Thumbs.ms \ com1.{D3e34b21-9d75-101a-8c3d-00aa001a1652} \ z \) which can not be opened with Windows Explorer. If you use a different file manager (for example, Total Commander), you can access this directory as normal.
I told the support and I was replied that this bug will be fixed.
Now I tried the current version of USB Secure a few days ago and it is still the same nonsense. No bug fix, no security. Nothing happend after three years.
@Genie au Travail: It is not a virtual drive. I think the software uses a command like "subst" or "net use driverletter: \\path_to_map" for mapping the (un)protected files to a drive.

Stan Hello Michelle Rossevelt,
I don't need support - thank you :-)
Everybody can test it by using a file commander like Total Commander (enable viewing system and hidden files) and entering the path USB drive:\\Thumbs.ms\com1.{d3e34b21-9d75-101a-8c3d-00aa001a1652}\z?????\ Here you will find your (un)protected files. Using the standard Explorer from Microsoft will show you your installed printers when trying to enter "Thumbs.ms".
