Jay Lucke The recorded demos were done with Gotomeeting and are hosted on their site. It should run in Windows Media Player 9+ on Windows. if you are running on a Mac you'll need to refer to this website for the codecs. https://www4.gotomeeting....eeting.com

Stephen Kreyling What is the cost to upgrade this version when 8 comes out? % of cost?

Will this version be good for the entire 2013 or is version 8 coming out in 2013?

Since this is a good deal of money, I need to know the above.

Stephen Kreyling The only thing that I saw that I did not like not having is the following:

Imported PowerPoint content is Fully Editable

Otherwise the software looks powerful and good for presentations.

Stephen Kreyling I have another question on upgrades, I see the following:

Upgrades to future versions of the software will require additional payment.

Does this mean that all of the version 7 updates are free? The product came out in 2011. I tried to get the price on the premium support, but prices are not listed for this?

Not having a price on things causes caution on purchasing. Since I really dont have a full view of the costs.

Upgrading from major release to major release is typically 50% of the current retail price. The cost increases slightly if you are upgrading from 2 or more version back. Although we released 7.0 is 2011 we've released 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and soon 7.4. We opted to provide these free to our 7.x customers rather than charge an upgrade fee. It is foreseeable that 8.0 would appear late in 2013. We typically recommend customer buy our Platinum Support plan which includes maintenance and support options. The platinum membership calculation for 1 year is +30% of the retail price and +50% (or 25% per year) for 2 years.

Editable PowerPoint content is doable and will be a version 8 feature most likely.

All version 7 users have been able to receive 7.x upgrades for free. We list all the prices for both 1 and 2 year Platinum Support on our website. Javier Gil I tried Qarbon's Quiz builder years ago, and I'm sorry to say the following:
No new version has come out for years. (the quiz demos are really awful compared to competing products).
It was really complicated to use.
Very limited features.
It was (And still is) incredibly overpriced.
I'm sorry to be so frank, but this is my honest opinion.
I don't wish to mention the competing products that I use, but if you want, I will.
I must admit that I don't know so much about their other products, but if the quiz maker is anything to go by....
