Doug A Not to answer for the developer, but on their website (linked above) it states, "The bundle includes a full version of 3 products: WinCatalog 2009, SecureSafe Pro and ToDoPilot. You also get one year of free technical support for all pruducts [sic] plus FREE upgrade to the upcoming WinCatalog 2010."

A conformation of this here by the developer would be nice!

Jason Howard @Pedro - I'd read that as - program is currently version 1.x - free upgrade to next major version (2.x) - future/subsequent versions (3.x+) are paid.

Hopefully the vendor/developer can clarify.

Techtoysavvy I have a history of buying these "WinCatalog" products and then the vendor either drops the product or goes out of business. I just bought my 5th one day before yesterday. So maybe Wincatalog just dodged a bullet :). I bought both Trietech products through BDJ and even joked about this with the developer. Now .....

at this price I will never say no if I find it useful but these programs are sticky because it take time to catalog your data. I just got my old Sony XL1B working and decided it was time to catalog, sort and re-store 100's of optical discs. I wrote version 1 of a script to read each disc in the changer and catalog it. I woul like to keep MD5 checksums as well but the program I was using was worried about CPU time on just a simple CRC.

The discs will be colsolidated, reburned and stored in a DACAL unit or binder.

So Powerfile/XL1B plus DACAL support would be a huge plus for location support. I would buy this in a heartbeat despite the my love of writing in shells I have never used :)

I'll stop boring your now.

Peter Heunichen The link to the website leads to an offer for February 4th, 2010.
On the site it say first: "plus FREE upgrade to the upcoming WinCatalog 2010."
Two sentences further it says "This is the final sale for WinCatalog 2009 and the ability to get the upgrade to WinCatalog 2010 by a reduced price." Very confusing!

Pedro Laurent I know that developers who promote their software here at Bitsdujour are not in any obligation to answer any questions potential buyers might have, but in my opinion, I take it as the developer doesn't care much for their customer. Even previous comments from last year were never answered.

Mike B @Prasad:

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying about WinCatalog dropping the product. I purchased back when WinCatalog 2009 was on BDJ and just upgraded the license to the 2011 version - at no cost as was promised a the time of the original purchase. The upgrade was longer in coming than originally indicated, but that's not too surprising in the software world.

Note that I'll admit to not having used the product much (either the 2009 or 2011 version); my purchase was more speculative than because of a known need. However, the vendor hasn't gone away or broken any promises that I'm aware of (except maybe that the next major version was expected to be in 2010).

Tazzie My question still stands, and according to my calculations, it would be cheaper to buy all three programs from the WinCatalog site than to buy at the so-called "retail" price as listed here on BDJ. The policy seems to indicate that the next major version will be offered at a discount ... how much? For all three programs or each one, or both options? The policy is just not clear enough to provide any answers, unfortunately.

Michael Rusakow Hello everybody!

The retail price for all products will be $88.90: $29.95 for WinCatalog 2011, $39 for SecureSafe Pro and $19.95 for ToDoPilot. The BDJ price of $19.95 offers you about 77% off.

The upgrade policy is simple. If you buy any version you will get all minor upgrades for free. Plus if any major upgrade occurs within a year since your purchase, you will get it for free as well. Otherwise we reserve the right to charge for the upgrade.

The website link is now fixed and leads to the correct page, thank you for informing!

Please feel free to ask here if you have any further questions. I will be happy to reply.

Michael Rusakow Hello Prasad,

WinCatalog 2011 can calculate MD5 and/or CRC32 for files and keep this data inside the catalog. This option is switched off by default but may be enabled in the program's options.

After adding a disk or a bunch of files into the catalog you can update your records. WinCatalog will re-scan the disc or folder; it will find all modified files and will update their records. Now WinCatalog decides that the file has been changed if the file size or the modification time were changed. MD5/CRC32 checksums are not used for detection. Just for information.

Concerning Dacal and Sony XLB1. Unfortunately WinCatalog does not support any carousel or disc-stack devices.

There is also no command line support for cataloguing operations. However WinCatalog 2011 uses SQLite database in the core. The database can be viewable and modifiable outside the program. In other words, the data is always open and you can do anything you want with the database using your own or third-party software.

Michael Rusakow To Robert Bull: Yes, WinCatalgo 2011 can scan inside ZIP, RAR and 7zip archives. It also can extract text from text files and store that text in the catalog. The extraction rules are flexible, so you can configurate which files to process (by extension) and how many characters to extract (it is also possible to keep the whole text file without limitataions).

Michael Rusakow Hi, Michael.

There are no any limitations in a number of computers where you can install your programs. Licensing is based on a number of users who will work with programs.

Single User license which is offered here allows installation of the programs on any number of computers for personal or business use of a single person. But if someone else works with programs, the additional licenses must be purchased (one per an additional person).

Stephen Kreyling For $20 bucks, its a time saver to find what you are looking for especially if you have lots of dvds with many small files. Time is money and for me, this program works great.

Michael Rusakow Walela, SecureSafe Pro does not require any installation, so it could work on a USB drive.

1. Install SecureSafe Pro on your computer, then activate using your registration key. This will create new file securesafe.key with all neccessary activation info.
2. Copy the entire SecureSafe Pro folder from Program Files to USB drive.
3. Copy your password database to USB drive.
4. Launch SecureSafe.exe executable to run SecureSafe Pro.

You keep changing the prices all the time, which makes me very leery of trusting that any future prices will be straightforward and set. I'll download WinCatalog 2011 today and try it out. I've just recenlty started comparing various disk catalog software. I'm especially interested in support for thumbnails of media files. I've used programs before for managing media files, but now I'm looking for a disk cataloger that also does thumbnailing, so I can just use one program.

Michael K Hi KX - I note you are trying WinCatalog today and I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on it. And also the other programs in the package if you are trying them.

Hi also Michael Rusakov:
I downloaded the WinCatalog trial and tried it on a 750GB usb drive. I've been using BrokenX for a few weeks and it catalogs this drive in a few minutes. WinCatalog has been running for over one hour as I write this it has only processed 127,000 items from a total of 200,800 it has identified. So I imagine the total time will be around 2 hours or more.

What concerns me is the time difference in the reading by BrokenX and WinCatalog and particularly if I add something to this drive and then update the WinCatalog database for it, I can't see me having the patience to wait a couple of hours every time I update the drive and this is one drive of about 15 that I have.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Michael

Michael Rusakow Tazzie, the regular price for SecureSafe Pro is $39. You may check the website here to ensure: http://www.securesafepro.com/order.php Where did you find a mention about $29?

The upgrade price is usually a half of the retail price. The upgrade policies are the same for all products.

K X I downloaded WinCatalog, but I can't give a full review: The program installed in XP, but when I launched it, it crashed. I reinstalled it in Safe Mode and was able to run it briefly. Since it seemed to work, I rebooted into Windows, and then when I launched it again, it crashed.

I didn't try out the other two programs, not because of my experience with WinCatalog, but because I just don't have a need for those programs at this point in time.

Michael Rusakow Michael K, disk scanning takes more time probably because WinCatalog extracts more information from your files. It creates thumbnails for pictures, scans inside archives, processes audio files for ID3 tags, etc. Each of these actions requires time.

The updating process takes the same time now, but could be faster because there is no need to process unchanged files. We are constantly working on improvements.

The list control of the Main window has been designed in MS Outlook style. That is why it does not have horizontal scroll bar. You are right, this may be inconvenient. We will add an option to switch the behavior and return the horizontal scroll bar.

K X Michael Rusakov,

Since the program worked for me in Safe Mode, I tried it some more that way. The help manual is quite good. There are some nice touches in the program in that it tells you what it's doing when it's building the catalog and it displays the most recent thumbnail (although I'd like to see thumbnails for more types of files, especially various video format files).

I'm not a huge fan of ribbon interfaces, but that's my personal taste, and I realize that most newer programs have ribbon interfaces.

The loaning feature (and contacts list) for marking items you loan out is well done, and is easily accessible, so in a way, it looks like if that's what someone wants to do--loan out their media, and keep track of it--this program could be a good choice. For myself, I need to catalog data on drives, CDs, DVDs, etc., which I won't be loaning out, so it's not a feature I would likely be using.

I was a little confused on exiting the program. I clicked to close it and there were half a dozen choices of what to do, but none simply said, "Exit" or "Close program."

I agree with Michael K. about the display of columns in the main window. I have somewhat low res monitor display settings, and really couldn't use the program fully because not all columns in the search results were visible, and I couldn't figure out a way to see them, because I couldn't scroll left or right to access the information.

I would suggest that this be the #1 thing to fix in the program.

I'll see about sending a crash report in the next few days.

Thanks for making yourself available in this discussion thread.

Michael Rusakow K X, thanks for the feedback!

Concerning the scroll bar, as I mentioned above, it will be fixed by adding the option to enable it. Actually, sometimes it's quite difficult to figure out if some particular feature is good or not until the real people will work with it and will provide you with a feedback.

KX, Michael K, thanks again!

Lisa Griffiths I downloaded and am trying out WinCatalog. My main purpose would be to organize and provide keywords to files and folders on my harddrive. While Win7 does do this to some degree, your program seems to make it easier. However, I noticed that it won't pull in the Libraries. I know I could pull in each location manually and put them in a virtual folder, but it would be much easier and faster if I could just pull them in from the Libraries location.

One other thing, I have hundreds of files with a Corel Draw extension of .cdr or .cpt. It would be REALLY nice if WinCatalog could pull in thumbnails from those files. That is one thing Win7 does do rather nicely.

I am also trying out ToDoPilot and I really like it but would think that a font tool bar with color options etc.. would be an excellent addition instead of having to use html tags.

Many thanks to you both for your input which is much appreciated.

This time I will pass on the offer as I cannot wait 2 hours every time a large disk is updated - hopefully you will return to Bits Du Jour when this is fixed as well as the scroll bar issue and I'll be happy to take another look.

Like K X, I have not tried or reviewed the other two programs at this time and therefore cannot comment.

Lisa Griffiths Thank you for accepting my Corel Draw file suggestion. :0)

Yes, I would like to be able to add "Libraries" the same as if it were one complete disk and have all the search & browse capabilities, file keyword & properties info etc....

Example: when browsing to add a disk, I could select "Libraries" as the disk and all locations listed within "Libraries" would be accessible.

Also, it would be nice to have report and export options - such as html, pdf, csv, xml, & excel as seen in other programs like Advanced File Organizer (www.softprime.com) I prefer your user interface the best though to others I have seen.

Michael R. Is it possible..

.. to let WinCatalog2012 find duplicate files? I suppose it occurs quite often when someone has multiple harddisks, that some files are (sometimes intentionaly and sometimes not) on different harddisks. Can WinCatalog find these. (Of course it can't compare them directly if the harddisks are not on plugged into the computer at the same time, but it could save filesize, date and CRC and if they match, this would indicate equality)

.. to create thumbnails also for video-files (mpg, avi, mp4). Best would be, if size and number would be user-definable, e.g. 10 thumbs per film (or one thumbnail every 10 mins of film).

Michael Rusakow Hello Michael, thank you your questions. The ability to search for duplicates will be added in the nearest update (version 3.6) which is schedulled to March 1st. The updated version will also have an ability to generate HTML reports (in addition to the CSV reports which are available since version 3.5).

Concerning the thumbnails for video files: this feature is already in plans but for version 4.

I tried to create specific catalogs for '.txt/.doc/.rtf' on a drive, but the scanning resulted in all type of files.

In this case I'd have two catalogs: one with text files and other with images.

Gene, I'm sorry but the German translation is not available at the moment and I cannot promise you when (or if) it will be ready.

Nelson, thank you for the suggestion! I will add the ability to add files by mask in one of the nearest updates (if I've got your point).

barney Barnes I did not see a specific reference as to whether WinCatalog 2012 will index network drives. I mention this because I've used several such programs in the past that would not, even though they would index attached external drives. That would be the make-or-break point for me.

So the question is, "Does WinCatalog 2012 read/index network drives, e.g., \\server\share?"

Matt Hello Michael,

I'm a registered user of both WinCatalog 2009 and SecureSafe Pro. Does WinCatalog 2012 need to be activated like WinCatalog 2009 does?

The current version of SecureSafe Pro is 2.74. Do you have plans of a 3.x version? If so, when might that happen? Would making this purchase today permit a free upgrade to version 3.x?

And finally, when might WinCatalog 4.x be released?

Thank you, Matt

Richard Andersen I'll second Stephens request for an option for viewing thumbnails instead of the standard icon in the listview, when the files are images.

Michael Rusakow @Barney Barnes: to index a network location please click Add Folder button, then expand Network and select a network location you want to add. I thought that accessing network drives is a kind of basic features that is why it isn't mentioned explicitly.

@Kimmo Lahtinen: the licensing is based on a number of users who works with the program. If you are the only person who works with our software then you should purchase a single license.

@FlyTheAirplane: we got rid of the activation process in WinCatalog 2012. The only product which requires the activation process is SecureSafe Pro but it can keep the activation info locally (for example in case if you decide to copy SeucreSafe Pro onto a flash drive). Concerning two other questions: the license for SecureSafe Pro includes a free upgrade to the 3.0 version but I'm sorry I cannot disclose the release dates for both SecureSafe Pro 3 and for WinCatalog 4.

@Richard Andersen: thank you for the suggestion. The ability to view all images in a list view (like you can see thumbnails say in Windows Explorer) will be added in WinCatalog 4.

Michael Rusakow Hello, WinCatalog extracts ID3 tags and media info from music files (mp3, wav, wma, etc), EXIF tags from jpeg files, it makes and keeps thumbnails for JPG, BMP, PNG, TIFF, GIF, EMF and ICO files.

WInCatalog parces the contents of ZIP, RAR, 7ZIP archives and ISO files. It also processes text files and web pages (HTML files).

You can configure the extensions list in the program's options.

Michael Rusakow Hello to everybody. ShareIt says 2011 but it should be readable as 2012. It is fixed now.

You can use our software on as many computers as you work with. The licensing policy is counting persons. If someone else works with programs the additional licenses should be purchased. But if you are the only person who works with the products - single license is enough - no matter how many computers do you use.

It wasn't announced anywhere yet but a completely new SecureSafe 3 will be released within a half of the year or so. I cannot disclose any dates but can say that everyone who purchase this deal will get the upgrade for free.

Michael Rusakow Hello Danny, Perry.

The upgrade from 2012 to 2013 is free. You do not need to buy a new license or upgrade if you already own a license for WinCatalog 2012.

Danny, SecureSafe Pro is the same. A new major update will come this year. It will be free for all users who purchase SecureSafe Pro (inside this bundle or separately) from January 1st, 2013 until the release. Other customers will get a massive discount for the upgrade. The free subscription featured on BDJ in September did not mention any major upgrade discounts.

Michael Rusakow Hello Sascha, WinCatalog 2012 had an issue with Windows XP in August, 2012 after implementing a phonetic search functionality because it made a call of a Windows API function which was missing in Windows XP. The issue was fixed and since that time works well under XP and we did not receive any complains from XP users (yet).

Could you please help us to detect the reason of the issue and contact support via the following form to continue investigating the problem: http://www.wincatalog.com/feedback.html

Metta Zetty Can ToDO Pilot be installed and run from within Dropbox?
May 15 2014 at 5:32am Copy Link
0
Michael Rusakow Hello Metta, thank you for your question! Yes, all 3 products (ToDoPilot, WinCatalog and SecureSafe Pro) can be installed and run from Dropbox or from USB drive as a portable app.

In general, our products do not require any special installation. Installation packages just copy files and create shortcuts. You may change the destination folder when you launch downloaded installation packages to your Dropbox location. Then run .exe files to launch products.

However you should note that WinCatalog and ToDoPilot keep the registration information in the Windows registry, so you will be needed to enter your registration key on every new machine (just once). SecureSafe Pro keeps the registration information together with the .exe file, so it requires registration code entering just on one computer.

Michael Rusakow @Tony, the upgrade policy is similar for all three products: any updates released for your initial purchased version are free. So if you purchase 3.0, that means you get 3.1, 3.2, and any other updates free. For newer versions (4.0 in our example) a special upgrade price may be applied. This does not mean that the upgrade will be paid, it may be free. For example, upgrade to version 4 of SecureSafe Pro will be free for everyone who purchased the current version 3.x. Furthermore, in the future you will not be obliged to purchase every upgrade. You may skip a version, two or more and still get a special upgrade price.

SecureSafe Pro is almost the same as you purchased in 2012. All the recent updates fix the compatibility with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. If you own a license for any version of SecureSafe Pro (including version 1), the upgrade to the latest version is free for you. Disclosing the plans: future updates will add mobile support (Android, Windows Phone/RT, iOS), cannot promise exact dates, though.

John H The simplicity of To Do Pilot is impressive.
Will it run in Linux under Wine?

I have moved back to a paper organizer and find that nothing gets lost or buried in a tree structure as in other organizer programs.

What I would like to see:
Drag the order of the items in a list rather than ordering them by color.
Type a to do item directly into the list without opening the input box. Open the box only if more information is needed.

Would love to see a whole month, paper calender style, open up on my display. Then be able to write in items just like a paper calender ... without opening an input box.

Do not need time tracking or all the complex data linking as in other programs ...

Final request: ability to hook up to electrical shock device to get my butt out of the chair to get the real work done.

Will give this a try and will gladly pay full price for it later if it works out for me.

Michael Rusakow @John H, I have tested ToDoPilot on Ubuntu 14.04 with the latest stable version of Wine and it worked just fine.

@Steve Turner, No, WInCatalog does not monitor file changes. Every time when you want to update a drive or a folder you should click the Update button.

Imagine, that users of WinCatalog have millions of files catalogued from hundreds (or even thousands) of disks. It will be a very resource-intensive task to monitor all these files. That's true, for example my personal collection contains info from 421 discs (mostly DVDs and old CDs) with about 5.6 millions of files on that discs.

1) Does wincatalog support encrypting and password protecting the database?

Michael Rusakow @Lito,

1) WinCatalog can protect catalog files by password, but it does not encrypt the data - it is still "plain" SQLite database, so anyone can read the file using any SQLite database management software. We do not have plans to implement full encryption for WinCatalog at the moment.

2) You can see the full list of the supported file extensions for various categories in the program options. Please run WinCatalog, click the Collection Managment button (the blue button left from the Main tab of the Ribbon toolbar), and then click Options. Follow to the File Processing page under the Scanning and you will see 7 sections for different categories. Every section contains a list of the supported extensions.

Please note, that you can modify these lists on your own. For example, some backup software may produce ZIP archives, but with different file extensions, say, ".bkp", so you may want to add these extensions to the processing list.

Concerning the thumbnails for Corel Draw and Paintshop Pro (.cdr and .psp) files. Unfortunately, for these types of files WinCatalog extracts only basic file info. We already have a suggestion to support Corel Draw files in our wishes list, but we did not implement it yet. I will add the Paintshop support to the wishes list, but can't promise that these features will be released soon.

Stephen Brown I purchased Win Catalog 2015 the time before this December 2015 gone (I think it was either early 2015 or late 2014), but can't remember whether the 2016 version was offered as a free upgrade. Can you tell me whether this is so or not.

I've used Win Catalog since the 2012 version became available several years ago and think it is one of the best cataloging software's around. I've used several, but found WinCatalog catered for my needs better than any other plus it was simple to use and had some nice tools to help in the cataloging process. When I saw the 2015 version being offered here on BitsDuJour just over a year ago I jumped at the chance to upgrade as the discount was generous. I did have problems buying it via BDJ so went to your site and purchased it directly from you (I think). I can't remember details so far back due to opiate medication and a head injury, but did purchased the 2015 version as prior to that I was using the 2012 version..

That said, since upgrading to Win 10 recently, I've been having problems with inputting data into my database. I've recently had to re do all of my disks; (over a thousand DVD's and Blu Ray data discs as well as around 15 TB of external data drives) because the backups I had of my database somehow became corrupted. I don't know whether this was due to me upgrading from Win 8.1 to Win 10, or whether it was because I reinstalled WinCatalog after having some issues with it constantly crashing. I cleared out my registry of any Win Catalog entries then deleted all of the WinCatalog files except for the backups, then reinstalled the program (which fixed the crashing problem). That's when I found the database was unreadable and I have, since early January been re scanning my Blu Ray and DVD data discs. I'm only a quarter of the way through so far and have stumbled upon another problem that I don't remember having before I installed Win 10.

That is; some of the DVD's, are taking an inordinate amount of time to scan, for example, I'm presently scanning a DVD data disc with 4.07GB of data stored on it. I started scanning the disc yesterday morning at just after 4am and it is still scanning the same disc 32 hours later. So far 21871 files (7456 images, 34 Videos, 2116 folders 12 archives and 5 audio files) have been scanned at an average speed of 9 files per minute, (it was faster initially). The programs I've got backed up have nested folders within them. When I scan other DVD's and Blu Ray discs (25GB) that don't have nested folders the scan rates are as high as 1000 per minute, but with nested folders the scan rates drop significantly.

At the rate I'm going at the moment the disc has still got several hours or more before the scan is complete. With over 750 discs still to scan, at least 25% of those being 25GB Blu Ray data discs, plus another 15 Terabytes of data on external drives, it's going to take me several months of constant scanning to complete.

Have you any suggestions as to what may be causing this? I've attempted to turn off any unnecessary background programs while running WinCatalog just in case there were any conflicts and I've rebooted in between discs. I may try installing the program to one of my older computers to see if it is Win 10, or possibly another unknown issue.

Thank you in advance for any help.

I don't want to have to repurchase the program again just to get the upgrade to Win Catalog 2016 if you've said previously that purchasing the 2015 version gives you the next major upgrade, which I presume would be the 2016 version as I am retired due to the accident that left me permanently on morphine and with head injuries that have left me with a poor memory. I have to live on a budget because I've not worked for almost 11 years now and only get a small portion of my teachers pension due to having to retire (due to health reasons) very early on in my career.

Regards

Stephen Brown

Michael Rusakow @Stephen Brown, a mentioned major upgrade meant the upgrade to 2016 version, and you will get it for free.

I'm sorry to hear that your entire catalog file was lost and that WinCatalog scans your discs slowly this time. I've sent you an email to follow up this issue.

Lito Another quick question. I am trying out the trial version, and it looks good so far, but I had one small issue or maybe a feature request. When I added a directory to the collection, then deleted some files, and updated the database, the deleted files were removed which I guess is expected, but is there a way to have it so it doesn't actually remove the deleted files from the database and just mark them as deleted/missing? Basically I want to keep a record of what I have deleted from some of my file collections.

Michael Rusakow @Lito, thank you for the suggestion! We already have a similar suggestion in the wishes list and we're considering scheduling it for one of the future updates.

Wade Townsend Hi, just made the purchase via PayPal and Digital River, however the only download links I received were for WinCatalog & Secure Safe Pro... Where is the download for ToDoPilot as I did receive the license# for it?

Thanks.

Rich M Any plans to support Virtual Hard Disk (.vhd) file formats in WinCatalog? I am interested in cataloging my Microsoft image backups.

Lito Thanks for the reply Michael. Any chance the marked as deleted option will be in the 2016 version?

Tortuga Hello Mr. Rusakov :)
I got SecureSafe some time ago, but only now got around to install ...
So, just installed/registered/activated
And I am confused !!
I dwloaded v3.2, but after install the About window confirms it is v3.5.2.4

Hummm ... So I already have a version from the future !!?? Yeahhh ;)
Maybe there is an error on the page, stating the current version is 3.2?
Looked, but did *not* find any changelog that would help clarify this conundrum
Peace

Michael Rusakow @Tortuga, that's correct, the latest version of SecureSafe Pro is 3.5, it was a maintenance update that fixed a compatibility issue for some Windows 10 installations that were upgraded from Windows 8. All the new features and a fresher look will be available in the next major update.

Craig S. Will ToDoPilot 2.0 offer sync (with Google tasks our other service so we can sync with phone/tablet?

Will WinCatalog 2017 offer auto-update on ejectfor removable devices like usb hard drives, cd, DVD, and usb thumb drives? Been waiting for this feature before purchasing. Thanks.

J Hello Michael,

When generating a report within WinCatalog 2016, I don't see any progress bar or status that indicates when the generated report is complete.

Is there something that shows this status? If not, maybe that would be a good thing to implement.

When generating a large report, which takes some time, I can't tell when it has completed. The title bar often turns to '(Not Responding)' and then finally completes.

Thank you.

Michael Rusakow @J, Unfortunately, the current version of WinCatalog does not show a progress bar when you save a report, but I will add your suggestion to the wishes list and we will add the progress windows in one of the next updates.

@Craig S., We already have a suggestion to implement an auto-update feature in our wishes list and we're planning to implement such a feature, but unfortunately, the initial 2017 release will not include this feature.

ToDoPlitot 2.0 will have a mobile companion app for Android and iOS with an ability to sync data via Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. I will add your suggestion to implement support of Google Tasks or a similar service to the wishes list. Thank you!

OK, thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll have to wait again this year, until these features are included or planned more definitively.
