- “I run XP Pro & Vista Ultimate. I'm forever customizing the desktop & tweaking the two systems. I was having issues on XP that the new WinASO Registry optimizer fixed, And I was getting an access violation on Vista when manually copying some new files to my external & closing documents during the copy. I tried cleaning with Tuneup 2008 & WinASO but the error remained. I cleaned another 170 errors with this program & it seems to be all good now. You can create registry backups & system restore points with it which I did, just in case but it seems fine now. I also like the disk cleaner.
