Michael Mortimer I will chime in here since no one has got back to you two:

1. Geri: Yes, you can use this program to create flash files on your realtor website. In fact it would be ideal.

I have had websites for my office (legal related) since 1996. I have used flash creation programs since that time.

The issue on any of these programs is that they create files that will play on anyone's browser when they visit your website.

I put this program through its paces just now, it is quite impressive, especially the templates. I can see a number of those being great for a real estate website. For examply, creating various ones to show off a home (one for the interior, one for the various rooms of the house, one for the views, etc.)

As you know, many realtors are using flash to create excitement with buyers. Many couples, for example, log on to your site on a weekend night and drool over a house. The more interactive you can make it, the more excited they get. Kind of like a great Disneyland ride.

2. Julie: Sometimes it's your browser or computer that is acting up. Try rebooting your PC and see if you can then purchase the program. If that does not work then it's the server side that is acting up. Simply try later in the day.

If it still does not work, keep track of when you tried to purchase. Then notify Bits and/or the developer. The policy at Bits is to always honor the deal, even if the offer ends. But they do require some proof (maybe a screen snapshot?) that you tried to buy. I suspect your posting a comment is proof enough.

Sidenote: Even though I have lots of flash programs I too am buying this. It does the same thing that flash developers charge thousands of dollars to do. So this is a real bargain.

Bonus sidenote: I did not notice until I started to create some flash files that there is the option to create screen savers. That alone is worth the purchase price. I have seen programs go for $50 to $100 where all they do is create screensavers.

And you can make them an exe file so that others can enjoy your creations. I know some people who create screensavers and list them on eBay for $10. They then e-mail the buyer a link to download the purchase. One friend makes about $300 a month doing that and he used a Bits-purchased screensaver program to create his screensavers.

You can go to eBay and search "screensaver" to see all the people doing this. It's a crackup, it's so simply anyone can do it as eBay will show you.

Julie Miles Came back to the site to try purchasing again... the timer says there is just over four hours to go on the offer, but when I click on the Buy Now button, it tells me the deal has expired. Maybe I'm fated not to have this software?

Michael Mortimer Julie, something is really messed up on the Bits server. I too saw that message, on all the products, said sorry missed out on deal, then I kept clicking and it went to the pages.

About two hours ago I tried to buy. It would not go to PayPal, but I was able to buy it using a credit card.

But I have yet to get confirmation from the developer and to give me my license numbers. Usually people don't work on weekends and with some, they are in foreign countries and in bed as it is the middle of the night.

No worries, they say it takes 24 hours to get the stuff (meaning wait until they wake up, shower and get to the "office."

As for you, Bits will communicate with the developer and they will give you the deal. So no worry there either.

It's a great program, I like it. Like I said in my other post, I have lots of other flash programs and this one is great too. $25 is nothing compared to what professional web designers would charge for even the most basic flash.

I know a lawyer who paid a web designer $2000 for a flash banner that probably took five minutes to design and create. But the law firm does not know any better and they are not going to find programs like these and design their own flash files, so to them $2000 was fine.

We appreciate the helps provided by Michael Mortimer as he gave correct and comprehensive answers. Generally, the license we offer here allows people to use the flash created by our products on their web sites. But if the licensee would sell the flash directly, we would suggest commercial license (twice the price).
