Zortam Mp3 Media Studio is an all-in-one audio application suite designated for editing tags of audio files. It has several modules such us Auto Tagger, Audio Organizer, Audio Tag Editor, Integrated Audio Player, Mp3 Volume Normalizer, BPM (Beats Per Minute) Analyzer, CD Ripper, YouTube To Mp3 Converter, Mp3 to Wav converter, Auto rename file editor.

Mark Bunner Got this on 1/11. Opened it tonight and it asked if I wanted to update to newer version. I clicked "No" and a small box "illegal copy" displayed. Then a registration box. The top bar shows "Unregistered". I click "cancel" and it closes.

Johno I am having some difficulties paying for this item with Paypal. Yesterday while the deal was still on I tried to pay for this software but when I clicked on the Paypal Checkout link it would seem that it was going to the page but then not go there.

When I went to leave the page (i had to go, i tried several times) It offered to save my 'cart' and send me an e-mail link to come back to it later.
So I did so and have just tried to pay for the item again, but it doesn't get to the paypal login screen so I can login and pay.

I am interested in purchasing this software at the discounted price still. Please help. Note, I have made other payments with Paypal over recent days without issue.

Johno Ok, went back and tried again. On this page where I was at the bottom of the page it said 'buy now' or similar but there was another one which said 'continue' and when I pressed that one it took me to the paypal page and allowed me to login and pay for this software. Might be a bit of a glitch there. Anyway I have the confirmation from Paypal that its been paid and another e-mail from "ShareIt Notification" (Digital River) saying its paid and providing an install key..

However, in these e-mail there is no download link for the program itself - are we supposed to download the trial and that will become the "Pro" version once we put the install key in ?? This is not clear and needs to be spelt out. The other reason its not clear is that on the Zortam site there are two versions of Zortam MP3 Studio, a 'std' version and the 'Pro' version.

Can you clear this up ?

Steven Trott So far, just about everything works great on this program. I have been using it quite a bit. The only negative is with downloading album art. For some reason, about 99 percent off the time the program doesn't find the right album art that corresponds to a given album. Fortunately, they provided a workaround. The workaround is to do a Google search on the album title, which does find the correct album art. I then save that to the MP3 folder and then the "add album art from file" option to apply it to the mp3 tracks. Maybe the development team could work on fixing the problem with the album art feature to make it usable.

Linton User I couldn't get this to install on Windows 10 (Home Edition) v1803 on either my desktop or laptop pc.

I just kept getting the following error each time I tried...

---------------------------------------------------------------
IPersistFile::Save failed; code 0x80070002.
The system cannot find the file specified.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Not happy... as it has now just gone past the time that the giveaway promotion was active, which the program had to be installed and registered before the end of. :(

When I googled the error code most of the articles that came up stated that it had to do with Windows Updates having failed to install correctly... yet all of the updates I've received to date from Microsoft have installed fine without any issues.

Is there any chance of having a little more time to install and register the program in order to sort the problem out that's causing the installation failure problem on Windows 10?

Or is this program not actually compatible with Windows 10????

Peter Blaise #1 Windows error messages are meaningless, like they're saying "poor gas mileage" when you have flat tires!

#2, Zortam Music Studio can be installed/reinstalled any time and the serial number for your version can be entered any time.

#3 If you accidentally upgrade to the next minor version of Zortam Music Studio, simply reinstall the prior version over on top of it, and it will inherit the appropriate serial number, or you can re-enter the appropriate serial number.

#4 If Windows believes that a prior installation or the entire Programs directory was initiated by a different user than you, it will barf at you and not want to install or create directories or overwrite previous files, click retry at least 5 times, then try right-clicking any installation file and running as administrator, or change the location to install to to a place you own, such as your Documents folder - Windows is updating who has what permission, and trusted user, administrator, and so on are changing their meanings between Windows 10 updates, so we are getting locked out of our own directories when Microsoft updates Windows 10, so we all need clever workarounds, and our Documents folder is generally a safe place that we own regardless of what Microsoft is doing ( Administrators no longer have full permission, for example ).

#5 Try the stand-alone Zipped non-installation version.

From my experience, Zortam Music Studio has great tools to customize our filenames and tag names, and is worth giving a try.

Windows 10, not so much.

Steven User I never received an answer on my question about the claim that this program "automatically downloads missing Album Art, Lyrics and other track info including Artist, Genre, Year, Track Name, Track Number." The current version of Zortam that I have no longer does that. I have to enter all that information manually. I will not purchase an upgrade until Zortam can verify that they fixed the problem.

Steven Trott I downloaded and installed and registered the free version of Zortam in Windows 10. I used Zortam to rip one CD and it worked. The next time I used Zortam to try to rip another CD, I started getting messages that I was using an unregistered version, which is false, because I registered it and I have proof that it worked one time because it still displays the contents of the one CD that I ripped. I tried reentering the registration number that was supplied in the email, but I get a message claiming that the registration number is incorrect. Due to problems I had with a previous version o Zortam that stopped filling in the ID3 tags on ripped CDs, I would need adequate opportunity to confirm whether that issue has been corrected in current versions of Zortam before I would consider purchasing it.
