CheckSite is an intuitive, powerful utility that combs through your HTML code and alerts you to potential issues! In addition to using the W3C Validator to validate your web page, CheckSite runs through a laundry list of checks to make sure that your HTML is the very best that it can be! We're not just talking about official standards, either -- CheckSite applies best practices to your code to make sure that it's the best that it can possibly be.

What kinds of traps does CheckSite catch for you? How about browser compatibility issues? SEO guidelines? Total user experience factors, like sitemaps and favorite icons? Compatibility with international audiences? Think about it -- what other HTML checking application offers both standards-based validation as well as rule-of-thumb?

Stop thinking! Just get your hands on a copy of CheckSite today!

Lupke Brother Just wanted to say, a very good tool. Have been using it quite a while now. Active developers. Misses one annoying thing: an auto updater for new versions!

Ga zo door!

Mick Hayes Will it run on a G5 IMac PPC running Leopard?

Dennis Bijlsma @Mick Hayes: I'm afraid not, CheckSite only runs on Snow Leopard or higher. Sorry about that, but we're a small company and don't have the resources to support older versions of OS X.

umike The software is not able to detect 404. Instead of warning me about the missing page, the software only warn me that it cannot parse the page.
Another thing is there is no help documentation. I don't know what does color and direction of the triangle stands for. I see a green triangle pointing down. So is that good or bad?
Some problem description is straight forward, eg missing favicon but other problems like "The page does not validate", means nothing to me. I can't solve the problem if I don't understand the problem.
If the above 2 issues get solved, this software is worth more than its price.

Mick Hayes Dennis,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. At such a good price, i may buy the software anyway. Save it for a future upgrade to a new machine.

Thanks again,

mick

Ralph Bressler I tried downloading the trial and it said it had expired before I even ran it once. I guess this makes my decision easy! I really wanted to try this software but...
